I'm kinda like this these days:
Work is tough right now and I've been filled with stress and anxiety. I'm headed out of town for a conference next week so it will be nice to get away for a bit even if it is work related.
I've been running but not as much as I hoped. The weather has been so depressing with cold and rain - right now Stella is kind of a wild beast because we haven't gone out for a long walk. April better turn things around or I'm packing up and heading somewhere nicer.

Hi guys!! Just checking in to say hi. I've been a total slacker lately in both the eating and exercising departments. Surgery is scheduled for this Thursday and I'm actually ready to have a reason to just rest. (I totally plan to milk this surgery for everything I can from the menfolk around the house-Netflix here I come!).2

@katharmonic - safe travels to your conference. I am in Chicago for a conference myself. It's gorgeous here; I am loving the colder weather.

@smile_laughter glad you are enjoying some time in Chicago. The phrase "loving the colder weather" is not computing for me right now . I'm headed to Indianapolis for my conference and the forecast doesn't look great there for next week. I'm supposed to do a 5k run on Thursday morning (6 am!) and it looks like cold rain. I may not be hardy enough to make that when I have to be at a conference all day following.
Yeah it's hard without the group motivation! Fortunately at least there is this kind of motivation, which is being aimed at me right now:

The Weight Tracker has been reset (sortof) your original weight is still displayed as starting and current weight. The current weight will update as soon as you add your 4/3 weigh-in results. The leader results are current

I think I heard a challenge! Okay, I came home from work and did my Zumba (after a two week hiatus!).

Hope everyone is doing well. What have you been up to? Hopefully having fun but working in some healthy habits and goals
I'm excited to be finishing up my semester. I'll be going on a little mini-vacation in 3 weeks - during which I signed up for a half marathon! Even though I haven't run over 9 miles since my last half in October! It's for fun and I plan to just try to finish it and keep a steady pace, not to try to push hard. Then at the end of May I will start more serious training for my real goal half marathon in the fall.2 -
