Had a pretty good week, especially considering work was pretty stressful this week!
    Monday -0
    Tuesday -0
    Wednesday - 1 glass red
    Thursday - 0
    Friday -0
    Saturday - 2 bacardi/diet

Today, not sure. I have a bottle of Merlot with a bit in the bottle...might finish that off. Working on birthday plans for a trip to Florida to see my sister-in-law. It's almost been a year since my brother-in-law passed away, so we feel like it's time to visit Heidi and spend some time with her...
Temps in MI are going to be 30's and snow this week - kinda wish I was going to Florida this week!

I behaved Friday night. Eric and I finished off the two open bottles and I had a cider. Got in the hot tub and went to bed early.

Saturday I had a beer at 1 while I watched the UK game. Then had 3, maybe 4, ciders during the St. Pats parade. We got home, changed real quick and went straight to dinner. Had 2 drinks there. We contemplated skipping the play but went and had more wine there and stopped for a couple drinks on the way home. I woke up a little rough yesterday but ended up ok. Eric talked about not drinking this week, so we'll see. I'm shooting for at least 2 0's. It's cold again so that helps.

    Sunday - 0

Not a lot of drinking this weekend. Not a lot accomplished either. Slug mode took over and my neck hurts and as I went to bed last night I had some vertigo again. I hope it doesn't last long.

I broke a tooth over the weekend, spent two hours at the dentist yesterday. Not so fun. Still wet and rainy here in the PacNW. Very much looking forward to Spring!

Tues - Eric opened and drank half a ginger beer and decided he didn't like my new brand so I made a mule out of it. Mustn't waste!
Wed - 2 glasses of red with a really yummy crockpot chicken mole and then 2 ciders. Almost had a 3rd; glad I didn't.
Work happy hour tonight. I'm sticking to domestic beer after last month and the Belgium Tripels.....

I've had no alcohol since 3rd March and even that was only one cider. Haven't really fancied it :o I was on a bit of a roll with exercise and eating pretty well and slowly seeing results. Come to a bit of a halt now as had my shoulder surgery yesterday. Will prob allow myself max of a week to slack off, eat whatever is easiest and rest. No lifting with my left arm for 6 weeks but that doesn't need to stop the rest of me once I'm feeling a bit better.

Oh Yvonne, I can relate to shoulder injuries. Hope you heal quickly.

I'll probably finish up my garden work today then open some white wine. Still on the 80s here but we've got a cool down coming.

    Monday-1 beer
Tuesday-2 Manhattans and 1 beer-Forgot I was off Wednesday sooooo drinks happened.
Wednesday-2 margaritas and 1 beer-because the reason I was off was because I had my root canal. Gary, I am with you...2 hours in the dentist chair is TERRIBLE! I was so emotionally drained from it!

    I am thinking about a 0 tonight!

Had a few really bad days -- at least 3 drinks per day (kids home from spring break and we were chillin' at the log cabin .. hot tub, wine, bourbon... you get it, right?) :) Reset going to have to be next week. Feeling really blah about the body and something has got to give -- either mentally or physically.

Yvonne, great deal on the zeros, sorry to hear about the shoulder. My husband has an MRI scheduled next week and most likely rotator cuff surgery to follow.

Gwen, log cabin, hot tub, wine, bourbon .... I get it!

Syd, no complaining about the heat.

    Kate, glad all is well

Ashley what is your favorite cider?

Gary, the dentist sucks. 'nuff said.

Meggars, welcome to the group. Tell us about you and what your name is. We tend to go by real names in this group. there is a thread in the group that lists people out by name.

Okay so I really enjoyed my class (javascript) but the work week is short and I am swamped. Booze to flow freely this weekend and then a major change in health, diet and exercise to ensue.

Happy St Patty's day my dear lushes.

Thanks for the welcome! My name is Meg... many of my friends call me Meggers so... use whatever you prefer. I am 36, mom of one (13). Body issues forever, been all over the scale. Trying hard to find the balance. All of the pictures in my phone are food I make with my man, weekend day trips with my man to the mountains to play outside, my kid and my dog. That's pretty much my life! And wine. Also wine and vodka or gin. Egg whites for breakfast and then I'm 600 calories in just wine by 7:00 oops.

    Hi Meg!

Robin, our house beer is from a brewery in Cincinnati - Rhinegeist. They make Cidergeist that is super dry, 6.2%, and only 140 calories. It's a win all around!

I went to happy hour yesterday at 3:30. Some of my coworkers were at a conference that ended at 2 and they went straight to the bar. There were shots and lots of drunkeness. Fortunately I was good and had 3 pints of Blue Moon, ate some onion rings and left at 6. Good thing...there was some drama after. :o It was a good time though!

Eric is running a 10k tomorrow so we'll take it easy tonight. Unfortunately Kentucky doesn't play till 9:40 though! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

    Hi Meg!

St Pat's day was an interesting one....hubby is 100% Irish, so it's like Christmas to him...too many Irish car bombs, Jameson shots and Guiness beers! Saturday was a bit rough but the corned beef and cabbage was delish!
1 glass of red of Saturday...not sure tonight...
Going for zero's for the week ahead

Friday was tame; I had 2 small glasses of wine and a cider. We had a busy Saturday: watched the 10k (Eric beat his best race time by over 2 minutes from 10 years ago!), went to swim, grocery shopped, relaxed at home and watched basketball, went to dinner and the play and came home after. I had a couple ciders, some wine, and a cocktail. Not too bad. Yesterday hit the coffee shop, took the kids to the park, watched more basketball (Go Cats!) and met my friend's new twins. They're 5 pounds each. So tiny and cute! Then a couple friends came over. I pretty much drank from 2 till I went to sleep. I'm a little tired today, but OK.

I'll have a 0 tonight. Maybe Tuesday. I'll have to see how I feel. Have a great week!

Corned beef and cabbage on Saturday was the best. Corned beef has on Sunday was insane. Damn I make a great corned beef. So I spent the weekend prepping food for the week and getting myself psyched for a real change. Today I am officially on a plan. Exercise, clean eating and no alcohol for as long as I can. Hopefully 4 full weeks. I feel motivated and I worked yesterday cleaning the space to exercise and Doug and I have our daily chores all mapped out and we will no longer come home from work and pour a drink and veg out. We will start accomplishing things!!!! I CAN DO THIS! So yesterday I actually didn't drink much. I had one "Not your Father's Ginger ale. (good stuff) on henry's hard ginger ale ( I like the Not your Fathers better) and one summer angry orchard. That is a very light day for me.

I will keep you posted and you guys can help keep me motivated.

    Lush out!

    Super plans, Robin! Sounds great.
I need a kick in the butt. I just haven't been feeling well. The virus I had for so long is gone but allergies are here in full force. I'm on my meds but still feel crappy. :/
Let's see if I can try to pull it together this week. Rain on the way

Yesterday was GOING to be a zero and then a friend called and I opened a bottle -- I did just pour 1/2 a glass and then went for a walk for an hour (burned nearly 300 cal).. so not feeling TOO guilty, except now there is an open bottle. Gulp...
