My exercise diary for the day:
Mind: Let's work on speed instead of distance today. How about we do a short 3 mile run with some sprint intervals.
Heart/Lungs: Remember that hard aerobic effort you had on Saturday? Garmin's recovery monitor says you're only in fair shape today and we agree. No sprinting.
Hamstrings: You know that tight feeling you had yesterday and this morning? If you push us today we're going to get injured.
Temperature control center: It's 76F out and humid. We can't keep you cool if you run hard.
Mind: Ok, Ok. I guess we'll do a lot of walking and stretching and a little bit of easy running.
And that leaves me at 54/75.5 -
