Man, I didn't get a single work out but still managed to squeak out some miles. I'm taking the night off to try and enjoy a little Birthday time for myself.2 -

May 21: I did some weeding and a little cleanup in the garden before it rained. Finally a long soaking rain!
May 22: I walked 46 minutes outside early this morning. It finally rained yesterday evening so it was cool and lovely out this morning.
@zichab, Yes! the Sit Less Boot Camp Challenge has been beyond enlightening for me. I had never realized how much I was sitting :blushing:. I had no idea how much more that I could be standing and walking instead of sitting, or how bad too much sitting can actually be for our bodies :noway:. I plan to never forget what I have learned this month, and to continue to find more ways to stand.

May 24: 3.1 miles (5K With a Twist), and I walked 60 minutes outside this morning. I worked in the back fence garden several hours this afternoon. It wasn't so hot today, so it was a pleasant time.

I did some work in our garden yesterday too. I'm looking forward to ton's of tomatoes and peppers and cucumbers along with maybe squash and carrots. It rained last night but today is clear and cool. So rare this time of year.
Saw a baby skunk eating the birdseed I put out this morning. I thought they were nocturnal, but we also have gray foxes that show up at odd times of the day to eat the bird seed. Insomnia, maybe? I don' mind, though. Unless of course the skunk gets upset. Hummingbirds have decided they like it here. We have 3 couples so far.

Oh my gosh! 4.4 miles today and no Leslie! That rarely happens and you know how I did it??? Shopping!!!! :drinker: Seriously, we are going to Boston this weekend for a wedding and you know that absolutely nothing in my closet was appropriate, :noway: so I had go shopping right???? Plus, who has the right eye make-up or lipstick on hand for these occasions??? So I had to go shopping right? I teach The Sociology of Marriage & Family so I know marriages are not happening as often as they used to and I may not get another chance, so I had to go shopping right???? My DH simply does not understand it, so I told him I needed more miles and went shopping for shoes too!! :laugh:

I had to explain that since one was formal I needed a LBD for the occasion. The other is a garden casual wedding a light summer dress was required. It is not often I get shop for dresses. I am have not bought shoes yet. Shopping does help out with getting our miles in! Shop strong!

LOL! What is wrong with men?? How hard is this to understand? LOL In all seriousness, I was stunned at how many miles added up just trying stuff on! Dennis was wonderful advising me on what jacket, dress skirt etc looked good, but shoes and make-up? ... um no way! I had to do those miles on my own! Go for it Pinky!!!! There are not a lot of weddings going on so we need to get in all the miles we can! LOL :laugh: Shopping Strong!!!!2 -

I have never accomplished that many miles in a month before. The scale hasn't changed much but my clothes definitely have. I don't know if I can match those miles in June, the majority of my spring yard work is finished .... unless I tackle a couple of projects.
