2 miles in HIIT class. Some of that was running around the building during class - that's when you curse the architect for making it so big.
Both my dietician and trainer told me this week that I'm doing too much and not getting enough rest. That's so weird to hear, since I spent most of my life as a couch potato and don't think I'm doing enough. The scale seems to be stuck, so I know they're right, but don't want to give up the classes I do now. #fitnessproblems

Going for 250 miles this month. I have been pushing myself to double my goal although it has been tough at times. I figure with school ending, I will get in some serious cycling, more running if the foot holds although the four days of running is already causing my heel to hurt.
School ends next week and I am so ready for it to be done. One more year...will I survive? Most of my friends retired this year and one of my teammates will be out on sabbatical and another will be back a couple weeks and out on maternity till January. It will be a much different final year for sure.
Okay, enough of me. Thanks Dave and Janet for keeping me on track. I hope to get some weight training in these next few months and drop the 10 pounds I gained due to my lack of running and more eating,
Welcome new folks. Glad to have you on board.
June 1: Adding 13 miles today of 1 mile of running for day four of the RW streak and 8 miles of walking/jogging and 5 miles cycling

@K80FLEC - We are almost back to full strength...I'm a little closer than she is, but we have a fairly restful weekend coming up. Some gym time and a motorcycle ride or two, but other than that, lots of rest.
Sheesh! I thought I marked my place this morning when I updated, but turns out I stopped too abruptly due to a work interruption! It's all caught up now though.

My granddaughters last day of Head Start was today, so her mother and I decided to attend the whole session and help the teachers. We had lunch and then helped wrangle 20 3 yr olds. I am more exhausted herding 3 yr olds then I am after doing 20 miles on my bike. To you teachers out there, I have developed a whole new respect for you, you all do great work!
Goal: 250.0 miles
06/01 - 16.0 miles cycling (while the weather window was there)
06/01 - 01.0 miles walking with the grand kids
06/01 - 04.0 miles hamster wheel (weather window slammed shut yet again)
06/02 - 01.0 miles walking with the grand kids
06/02 - 20.0 miles hamster wheel (split work today, lots of stuff to do)
Total: 42.0 miles
