Thanxxxx D and Brenda. Ya...I've been having back to back to back high sodium day and I made tacos for dinner tonight too. I'm going to hold off on weighing myself till Saturday because I'm starting to get bugged. Yesterday I was up .3 and today down .2 so there's a lot of ping ponging around. I did go down 1 point on my total fat this week so that's some progress... I did my run yesterday and today also. Yesterday was a big dinner because the kids came over. I took a pick of my meal tonight but had already eaten one of my two tacos. hope everyone is well

You are doing great. I couldn't weigh every day, the ups/downs would drive me insane. Once a week is all I can do, but for some it works, just not me! We had tacos last night too!1

Thanks D! Tacos are to darned good aren't they?! Tomorrow will be a new beginning for me. I won't weigh till Saturday and depending on how good I feel I'll decide about weigh ins from there. A friend brought over a yummy pasta dinner, baguettes, salad and a lemon cake dessert. It was all too good and I'm not used to having a surplus of yummies in the frig. I caved to baguette twice today outside of my 1 hour. But...everything is gone now so I'm gonna make a big effort to right the ship tomorrow. I have to do it...I don't want to slide back down and give up hard earned results.
I walked today instead of my run. I was stressed to the max with the stock market.

That is always the best to get the stuff out of the house. I only bought Halloween candy that I didn't like for that same reason too tempting and I don't have the self-control for just one piece !

Yes D (wait a sec...did you start a new thread? Had to look twice at your screen name), uhhh I have been having a hard time getting back to the one meal. I keep giving in at around 2 pm and my omad is at 5. I'm gonna keep trying to get back on the routine. It was sooooo easy till I fell off. That's why I can't have cheat days...it sets me up and I have a hard time getting my groove back. I'm pretty shocked it's so hard this time....I have to get back to omad because truly nothing else works. Fingers crossed0

Yes something happened to MFP account and I had to start a new account ---so frustrating......I lost everything....oh well, maybe that will help my with my reset...….

D, sorry to hear that but I wouldn't mind all my history getting wiped out too
Yayyyyy! Today is the first day I made it to 5 pm OMAD. Took my husband for an endoscopy at 1 pm and and that got me easily to my 5 pm feed time. Did my 5-6 mile jog this morning so I'm pretty happy about today. I hope it'll be easy again from here on out for a while. Sure didn't want to give up all my progress I can feel some extra weight on me but I'm gonna hold back on the weigh ins for a bit...at least till I feel better. When I lose weight everything gets a lil gushier feeling and that really throws me off mentally....feels like more fat but really it's just not as much fat pressing outward....ughhhh gross haha. Had a jimmy john sandwich for dinner. Hope everyone is feeling fabulous0 -
Kat awesome on making it till your meal time. A lot of times for me it is just getting the mind to behave.....but I have had a much better week and looking forward to hopefully another loss on my next weigh in. Hope you have one as well!!! You are doing great!1

D, I'm so glad you're back on a roll also! I can't seem to control my mind once I get that nervous hunger signal. It's like I see black. I can be totally satisfied and 5 minutes later crazy hungry. Once I'm firmly on OMAD I don't get like that. Yay! Today was a success also. Also did my jog this morning. Had my daughter and hubby stop by for dinner so we had ruben sandwiches and potato skins. I didn't take a pic but also had angel food cake and strawberries. Packed up all the left overs and sent it home with them.

Bonsoir...I forgot to check in yesterday. Gonna try for once a week now...So all has been going pretty well...I was happy that my weight remained pretty stable during my 'stick my head in the sand' phase. I am up .4 from my lowest weigh in...I expected a crazy high number. Have been doing my jogging daily and had a nice 6 mile walk around a reservoir today. Made a nice cabbage, potato, carrot and corned beef soup for dinner with a chunk of bread. Ok gonna try to keep my head down and plow through this week. Super Happy ThanksGiving to all!

Helllllooooo Well....not weighing everyday was not a good strategy for me. This week I managed to put on 2 pounds. I'm going to weigh in everyday, take a pic of my meal and a pic of my iwatch steps. Gotta get more accountable again.
Jade, yes I fell off too...pretty much blindsided but I'm back too. We can do it and it's ok to fall every once in a while. For me...this weight thing has always been my biggest challenge....so it's not supposed to be easy.
Had my OMAD at 5pm. We went out for Chinese food. Had some lomein and half and order of shrimp and eggplant in garlic sauce and one fortune cookie. Did my jog this am and then went for a walk with hubby.
I think I will be checking in briefly every evening.
I'm doing strict OMAD till Christmas and will try to get an hour of cardio every day.

Hi Jadepearl Yes, for me, I keep myself more accountable by weighing daily. I really want to lose .2 a day and weighing daily keeps it more in the forefront of my mind. Weighing daily used to back fire on me...if I lost a good amount of weight I thought I could be more slack in my eating and if I gained weight it would make me feel like it's impossible for me to lose weight so I would give up. But...when our Brenda was losing weight, I would see that she could put on 6 pounds overnight after a splurge day. She ALWAYS got it back off within the week. This made me more tolerant of weight fluctuations. Thank you Brenda!
I had a very good OMAD day and got my jog and a walk in. Made leek soup, salad and a chunk of bread for dinner. I had some grapes for dessert. Got hungry at 4 but I got myself to wait till 5 so that was a mental victory. I was down 2.2 pounds over night (oye....why so much water?) I hope that everyone had a great day.

JD, I hope the weighing daily helps you...I know first hand it can go either way but it doesn't hurt to try new things. Losing weight is frustrating but all we can do is give it a good try and it has to pay off eventually. I know that when i don't try it piles on fassssssst.
Today was a good OMAD day. Went on a long walk with a friend, had a jimmy john tuna sandwich for dinner and forgot to take a picture. Stayed the same weight to the ounce overnight. Hope everyone is feeling gooooood.

Awesome job on the 10lbs loss! I have been weighing in daily and when I see that I gained, I will eat less on that day. I guess that's how I control my intake and hopefully, it pay off. Right now, I am at 61.5kg and I know I am going to be stuck once again. Somehow, I can never get down to 50s..not even 59.9kg. But, I will try once again. Enough about me...
