Yes! I agree...I think I figured out one time that if I lost like .2 everyday for a year I would be 73 pounds lighter....So def it adds up. Helps when you think first before have that extra bite or two when you're not even hungry.
I did my run/walk again today and I also use the curb to do some step up and downs on a segment of my walk. I also walk up backwards on the hills. I walk a big circle around and elementary school so there's no surprises...I'm heading out with hubby for our walk after dinner in a few minutes. I should have 18000 steps when I get back.
I had cauliflower with peas, salmon and a salad for dinner. Was yummy and filling. Surprised again this am with a .6 loss....hmmmmmm

So today was good because I went to 'mercy' babysit for a friends two lil girls. I didn't get back home till 4. I went out early this morning so that I could get my run/walk in. It really makes me feel accomplished. I saw an instagram pic of a super athlete and I thought..."wow he's super muscular"...well he captioned 'Hard Work'. So it made me think geeze it even takes this guy hard work to maintain what he's got. So I thought geeze I should give my effort 'hard work' too. So that thought runs through my mind when I'm out there plugging along.
Had dinner at Panera's because I didn't have time to put a meal together. It was yummy of course I was down .7 over night. The losses will stop soon I'm sure...but I plan on it taking at least a year to take off the 50 pounds. Hope everyone had a great Friday!

Had a god day. Did only my run/walk today and got 15k steps total. My run segment is up to 20 minutes intervals now. Had 3/4 of an individual pizza at pizzeria locale, a couple bites of salad and a small piece of nutella pizza. I forgot to take a picture because I was excited to eat Oh just found an old pic of the same pizza... Went down .6 again overnight. Pizza gotta catch up with me tomorrow??!!

I had a good day. Did my run walk again this AM and another walk just a bit ago and have 19,100 steps on my watch. Weather was cool and a lil misty. Gobbled up some sushi & smoked salmon for dinner. Also had 2 pieces of toast with dinner...not sure why...I ate before I remembered to take a picture.
Hubby is going to Moab tomorrow for a week to ride his bike, so dinners should be simple.
I was up .1 overnight.

Well....just when I was feeling strong I gave into some smoked salmon at 3pm two hours before my usual dinner...Tomorrow I will be fine because I will be babysitting again and I'll be busy.
Took the day off from my run walk and basically just got 10k steps for the day at the mall for dinner. Had a gyro & 1/4 of the fries from Renzio's at the eatery. Was up .1 again overnight.

Good OMAD day today as babysitting till 4 worked out super good. Got home around dinner time so we just went to panera. Had the same thing as last week. Down .4 overnight. Tomorrow I start my running again....we'll see if it makes a difference.

Thanks all Getting to eat what I want is what makes this feasible to me. I've tried restrictions and I just can't last.
EstrangedTiger thank you for the 'welcome back' I tried other healthy alternatives on my hiatus but I just didn't lose eating more frequently. I'm really most comfortable on OMAD.
Did my run walk this morning and I don't come home till I get around 12k steps. The running is going much easier! I keep run-walking even after my app is completed. Just kind of get in the groove. Now....my 'run' is really just a slow comfortable jog. A couple times I thought I would get my heart rate up and ran a block at full speed...but then I remembered I got injured doing that at the gym a few years back....So I don't want to mess myself up again
Son and I went to Olive Garden for dinner and I had 1/2 of the chicken scampi and a salad. Just not feeling like messing up the kitchen since hubby's gone. I spaced out taking a picture again! Bahhhhh I was down .3 overnight. Weightloss is slowing down but .2 everyday would make me very happy. Hope everyone is ginning along! Thank you for the encouragement

Great Omad day...was not hungry before my 'hour'. Very stressful work day though I couldn't make time for my run/walk. We ordered in Chinese for dinner. Was up .5 over night. Hope everyone is stress free & hope you have a great night

Haha you guys are funny. I can see now that I don't make the best choices in my meals...especially this past week. I'm going to try to clean it up a bit....but just a bit
I have a cold the last couple days. I did my run/walk today. It felt good. I enjoy being outside and being active. I've been watching you tube videos that don't advocate aerobics...seems like weight lifting is the way to go...but I do love what I'm doing so I'll ignore it for now.
I ate around 4:30 & had burnt up chicken ( gahhhh that's how I like it when I only have to cook for myself) and a big salad with lots of avocado. I was down 1.7 pounds over night...that surprised me in a good way

Thanks EstrangedTiger...each day it is getting easier not thinking that I'm hungry outside of my window. I did my run/walk this morning and the run portion is now 25 minutes. I stay jogging mixed in with some walking after that and don't head home till I hit 12k steps.... 18.5 k steps right now. I ended up staying at the park an extra 45 minutes as I came across a loose dog. Luckily the family was out searching and saw me with him....phewwwww.
I was up .3 over night. For dinner I had 3 ounces of steak, brussels sprouts and a salad of kale, spinach, arugula, avocado, a bit of feta cheese and some olives & olive oil and vinegar. Salad was really good.

Another day...Did my run/walk 12k steps today...luckily I went early because it rained the rest of the day. Only have 15k steps right now. Wasn't going to eat carbs for dinner but I bought a bunch of sushi that didn't get eaten yesterday so....I decided to not just throw it out. Down .2 over night. Seems like it takes me a whole lot of effort to get the scale to budge but I got a loooooong ways to go so I just need to keep giving it what I can.
Sushi, green beans and left over steak for dinner. I'm pretty stuffed. Here comes another week; hope it's a good one for everyone

Thank you ladies...I needed a lil pep in my step....Rained all day today so I took the day off from exercise. I'm up .3 over night...I made chili and a kale, spinach, arugula salad. Had a good OMAD day...no hunger. I'm thinking of checking in once a week but I'm not sure yet. I think I need the everyday accountability so I hope I'm not hogging up the site Hope everyone had a great, successful day

Did my run/walk this morning and it was tad bit misty out. I warmed right up after 5 minutes. Feeling stronger every day in the jogging department. Now I don't stop once the app is over. Except...I walk up the hills backwards I'm surprised how quickly I adapted to the jog giving that I pretty much started getting shin splints the first week. It never progressed to be really bad.
Defrosted some bean and chicken soup I had in the freezer and....had another kale, spinach and arugula salad. I guess I bought way too much of those three because I still have enough for another round of '3' for us...That's it...that's all I had and feeling stuffed again. Waiting for my 5 pm feed time is very easy now...basically just have water and 2 cups black coffee during the day.
So....I'm back down .2 over night....I think I'm the type that gets a woosh every once in a while and just maintain the rest of the time. I'm doing everything right I believe. I
'm watching a lot of wellness videos on You Tube to keep all this in the forefront of my mind. I have a history of forgetting how important all this is after a while. Probably from not putting myself first all these years of being a wife and mother.

Thank you for the encouraging words JP. It *feels* slow but really when I compare it to the weight coming on...it came on at a steady 2 pounds a year. I'm just gonna keep trying this time...it's encouraging to see the success stories on here and it's just a question of time and persistence.
I did my run/walk in the morning and it drizzled on me the whole way. I was the only one out there. I didn't walk this time just started jogging because I wanted to warm up. Jp, yes there are much easier on our knees exercises. I definitely would stop if I had any warnings from my legs. I've been a big time walker all my life so I might be toughened up a bit in the walking/ jogging department. I know better than to outright run though. I used to do a lot of 'step aerobic' classes and you def need good knees for that.
I was down .8 overnight. Tonight is sandwich night in our house so I made a tuna, havarti, tomato and avocado sandwich on whole grain bread. I t was big and I got full so that's all I had. It was pretty dang gooood

Thank you D The days are passing more quickly now. I'm pretty much in the same routine day after day but that's how I've always rolled. I hope your week is going well.
Did my run this morning. I'm pretty much the only person out there. Kind of nice to have it all to myself. Basically just jogging now and a tiny walk warm up at the beginning and end.
Made salmon, zucchini and squash and ...dun dun dunnnnn another kale, spinach and arugula salad. Added some feta and calamata olives from the grocery olive bar. I'm down .6 over night. I don't get these results eating more meals through the day. Actually...I lose NOTHING. Even if it's just eggs, tuna....that kind of food. Hope everyone is having a good week. I can't believe it's already Thursday!

Made an easy dinner. romaine, tomatoes, bacon and ranch. Some boiled shrimp and asparagus. Pretty filling, doesn't look like much but had to force myself to finish. I think tomorrow is pizza day

Had a nice pizza meal for my Omad yesterday. It was a nice treat/reward. I was down .2 over night on the 13th. Had a great, nice long jog. Today it is snowing but I knew it would so I hadn't taken a break from jogging to skip today. If it's snowing again tomorrow I will go to my rec center that has an indoor track.
I've been feeling a lil dizzy when I bend over to pick stuff up. I'm relating it to my blood pressure medicine. I'm going to mess with the dosages this week so I will not be weighing in. It has a diuretic built in so it will mess with my weight. I'm gonna put my head down and continue with Omad and jogging and will check in on here next Tuesday. Fingers crossed my weight doesn't climb like crazy because of water retention. I'll be checking my bp morning and night. I hope to get off the med completely. I've noticed in the past that my heart rate will not elevate even during a strenuous work out so I'm wondering if that inhibits some calorie burning? Ok I hope everyone has a great week and I'll see you on Saturday. If my bp gets crazy I'll get back on my prescribed dosage and be on here sooner.
