A delayed weigh in post from me as I was very busy last week followed by a weekend away (so tomorrow's weigh in won't be good). I did intend to run when I was away but the weather was rubbish. Never mind, still another two weigh ins after tomorrow. Back to the gym tonight!

I stayed the same (0.2lbs I consider no change), but BF% dropped a bit so not a bad week last week.

    Height: 5'10"
    HW: 183lbs
SW January: 165.4lbs (first January weigh in)
    Ultimate goal: Around 154lbs
    January goal: 161lbs
January Body fat goal: drop below 26%

    26th April: 179.4lbs - Body fat: 29.6%
    31st May: 173lbs – Body fat: 28.2%
    28th June: 170.6lbs - Body fat 27.6%
    26th July: 168lbs - Body fat 26.9%
    31st Aug: 169lbs - Body fat 27.2%
    27th Sep: 166lbs – Body fat 26.6%
    25th Oct: 164lbs - Body fat 26.3%
    29th Nov: 161.4lbs – Body fat 25.7%
    7th Dec: 165.4lbs - Body fat 26.5%
    13th Dec: 164.4lbs – Body fat 26.4%
    20th Dec: 163.6lbs – Body fat 26.1%
    27th Dec: Didn’t weigh in.
    3rd Jan: 165.4lbs – Body fat 26.6%
    10th Jan: 165.6lbs – Body fat 26.4%

So I think I just have to get used to the fact that any weight loss is going to be SLOW, due to the fact that I’m a 5ft shrimp. Blah.

That being said, I dropped from 35.9% BFP to a round 35% so RESULT! And I can definitely see my body comp changing. The other day my husband said “woah, your back is ripped!!” And I felt super proud.

I’m toying with a few things to see if I can jump start some faster loss. I was able to drop closer to .7kg/week back in October on a 1440 cal overall intake without eating back exercise calories. And I’ve been doing a bit of reading on zig-zag counting which seems really good too.

I think I’m going to do one more week on my current regimen to give it enough bedding in time, and might try one of the others for February, who knows! Anyone had any success with either of those approaches?

I didn't eat out so much over the weekend and some weight just fell off. I'm starting to feel much skinnier and see less of a chin. My main goal now is to continue eating better on weekends to keep the trend going. I started my new job yesterday and I think it'll be a really good fit. Jury duty today only lasted a few hours-yay! And grad school starts tonight. Hopefully it'll be easier than anticipated. Wish me luck!

Maybe try eating less than 1440? You lost some since October, so you might need to readjust your intake?

As for methods, I started iifym yesterday, but it's obviously too early to make conclusions :)

Thank you keeping this thread going.

    Last week: 150
    This week: 149

What I learned: Damn, it is hard to go back to healthy eating after about 6 months of daily indulgences. I'm taking it day by day and not expecting perfection, just staying at my calorie range even if that means not always eating healthfully.

And, just going to the gym, and doing half an hour (I used to do 60 to 90 minutes 6 days a week), just to get back in the groove.

    Keep on, keepin' on, all!

Feel free to friend me. I need all the cheering squad I can get, and I'll be happy to reciprocate.

Yeah that’s not a bad shout. I was trying a more iifym approach in Oct, so maybe it’s a case of dropping that 1440 a bit more and doing that again! I think I’m going to do one more week here on 1182 and then start mixing things up. Fingers crossed!

Things have not been going great for me. I've fallen into a bit of a rut and haven't been able to climb out of it. I know what I should be doing, I just can't seem to make myself do it. I'll see how the week goes and just do my best to turn things around.

Lots of new faces and posts. Welcome and good luck everyone.

At least a loss this week, I’d hoped I’d lose my Christmas excess quicker than this, but I haven’t been as healthy as I should have been.

This week I’ve started a new workout program it’s 80 day obsession and it’s a beachbody program, I’m quite enjoying it, it’s supposed to be a workout everyday, but I don’t workout everyday, so I’ll do it over a different time frame.

Sorry I don’t give everyone a shoutout, I struggle with this on my phone.

Well done on the losses this week and those of us who are struggling, hopefully things will get better soon xx

Girls, can I ask sth off topic? Why does your posts get so much woos if you share your success? Isnt that a bad reaction? I always get a lot of woos and thought people just don't like what I say, but how can you woo someone's success?? wtf?!

    Okay okay :D

I thought it is bad, because as I was too direct and got warned because I said my opinion I got only woos. But maybe it means good and bad for different people haha.

    Thank you!

Woo wasn't clear for me at all, so I found this: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10625754/the-woo-response

Bottom line: woo is not a cheer. :#
