@chinatowninchina stick with it! Four pounds isn’t bad. Stay determined and focused!

Looks like the scale started to move again. Was hoping to hit 230 by the end of February. Let’s see how close I can get to it.

Weighing in. No loss this week. I splurged on real pizza last Sunday night and I've been paying for it all week. My arthritis flared up and I felt bloated all week. I also struggled with crazy carb cravings. Ugh. Glad to be past it all again. It seems like all the foods that I once loved aren't as appealing anymore when I eat them, but my brain hasn't figured that out yet. They always sound like they will be delicious, but are never as good as I remember.

Yay! 2 lbs this week! One awesome NSV is that I ran a 5k today at the gym. My first time running 5k in over a year! And this was after my 1 hour spin class. B)

Congratulations to everyone this week not just because of loss but also because of the ah-ha's we are all getting as we learn more and more how we react to what we eat. I feel that can be even more important than scale shifts in the long run. My ah-ha is even though my husband has made bad choices this week I didn't let his choices dictate my eating decisions. In the past I would say something like "if he doesn't care why should I" and then make a bad food decision like cake or chips. This week I said 'No, I need to not let him screw me up!" Just my 2 cents ;)

    2/18: 243 -3 (Yay!)

It's been a better week for me. Don't think I'll make my goal of 237 but I'm hoping to maybe see the 230's. Now the weather has been better I've been able to get over 10,000 steps in most every day. I'm doing better with my fasting window, not really feeling hungry and have shifted my first meal to around 4pm then getting done by 9 or so.

Not quite a pound this past week. I actually am very happy with that as I just pretty much ate whatever this past week with the flu. I am back at it today!!!!

I read somewhere recently that it's a good ides to set goals with a date you can work up to. I think the example given was that if you're working up to a 5k, to have a date in mind and sign up for one. There are several 5k coming up in May so I thought I'd train for one. I've been trying to incorporate more running. Since the fall I'd been doing intervals. This week I decided to just run as long as I could or until fell off the treadmill (you just never know). I was able to work up to 2 miles at a steady pace with no stopping. It took me 40 minutes. I've never run that long....EVER! In fact, when I started intervals I couldn't do more than 2 minutes at a time. Interestingly enough I could continued running. I stopped because the show I was watching finished and I wanted to spend time with the family. In all it was an excellent week! Last week of the month is here. I'm running right into March. WOOOOOOO!!!

@valleygirl74 I'm guessing you reversed the 1 and the 3 above as I'm pretty sure there is no way you put on almost 19 pounds in a week not even I can do that!!

I was about to post about that too. :) Although I could definitely eat enough chocolate in a week to do just that.

Is anyone interested in a challenge this week? Something simple?

Here's a simple challenge for all of you daily weight checkers. I'm OCD about weighing myself daily but I'm willing to challenge anyone to NOT step on a scale until next Sunday.

I'm in - Who else will take up the NO WEIGH IN challenge for this whole week?

Oh my goodness not a chance! I'd be all anticipatory and think I'd lost more that I had and I would want to throw the thing if unexpectedly I was up or the same. Brings me out in hives just to think of it, I'll stick to OCD! Good luck to everyone else though! B)

I am SO in again! Round 2!
    Weight lost in January: 7.8lbs

    Sunday 02/04: 241.6
    Sunday 02/11: 243.6
    Sunday 02/18: 241.4
    Sunday 02/25:

It's been really frustrating seeing the scale fluctuate up and down for weeks now...and mostly up.
I am still on my TOM, going on week 5 now. I am bloated and feel awful. I have been keeping my carb intake low, I am limiting my keto-friendly drinks, I am doing OMAD, and yet here I am.

I do feel better in my clothes, my pyjama pants are a bit looser, and my wrist watch is loose. But my brain is playing bits: if the scale is going up then something is wrong.

I am scared to take my measurements because if they aren't shrinking then I might loose my marbles.

    UGHHHHH!!!!

    I need a nap. :(

It looks like my body reaaaaaalllllllly wants to stay in the 40's! I am now doing OMAD as well and I feel really good so far. I burn about a pound of fat every two days, from what my scale tells me. I went out this weekend and had one too many mozzarella sticks. No regrets! I also suspect the Manhattan I ordered had sugar in it even though I asked for an no sugar version. Without this I would probably be down a few more pounds.

The next time you see me I'll be in the 30's, come hell or high water!

So, I decided to weigh like I normally do, but not look, and just sync the whole week to the app on Sunday. I do want to be able to go back and see the body analysis data since this will be my 1st full week running and doing strength training. I covered the display on the scale. I can live with this compromise.

    Sigh...
I guess last week was too good to be true. I didn’t deviate from my macros and stayed in my calorie limits. Very frustrating. So close to my benchmark yet it seems I’ll never get there.
I am choosing to focus on the fact that all my jeans are too big. Going to goodwill to get a couple smaller sizes. Maybe that’ll cheer me up.

(One day late to weigh in due to traveling.) Keto is awesome. Spent the week away on vacation and I still dropped from last weigh in! While away I practiced a more “lazy keto” but was able to find things to eat at all the restaurants we went to fairly easily. I even had some keto cocktails. The fact that I can take this diet on vacation with me and still enjoy myself is just awesome. Every other diet I’ve ever been on was shattered to pieces pretty much instantly when I went on vacation.

Not freaking out because I strayed two times this week (Valentine's Day and Mexican restaurant with my sister), and I'm pretty sure I'm just on my way back down due to water weight.. I had my third and final dress fitting (HOLY MOLEY!!!! MY WEDDING IS 68 DAYS AWAY AHHHH!!!!) and it fit perfectly!!! I'm really happy with the way it fits and the way I fit in all my other clothes too, even if the scale isn't necessarily reflecting that at the moment ! (Gotta work on toning the arms a bit more but still really really happy!)

Side note: has anyone made/had keto bagels? AH.MAZE.ING. Can't say enough! I've eaten them for my last three meals and I don't see an end in sight! ;)

Also welcome mzink to our OCD challenge. The more the merrier! Anyone else interested in putting your OCD weighing habits on the shelf for one week?

I'm in too! This couldn't be coming at a better time! … I refused to put my actual weight into MFP because I do not want to see that downward trend decline come back up (praying/hoping/thinking it's just water weight..) This will be interesting to say the least!
