Welcome or welcome back to @klkelley and @MelsLeanDream
Well done @zichab for getting back to walking 3 miles and working up toward the super challenge. That was also my goal when I had been back into the walking because it is my ultimate 4 mile workout to work up to. I'm so happy that you are feeling healthy again!!
@debbieled12, chair yoga class is an amazing way to get back into exercise while dealing with health issues. Hope that you get to feeling well again soon.
@PinkyPan1, glad that you and your grandson are feeling better now. Yes, lots of icky germs out there.
@Deeder522, congratulations on completing the Apple Watch Heart Month!

So many other miles have been posted by everyone! Well done! February is looking great!

I'm sorry that I was not here last week. I had been really busy getting ready for, and enjoying family visiting. I wanted to give the room that the grandchildren play and sleep in, and serves as the adult's guest room also, a deep cleaning and decluttering to get ready for them. It had been on my list so this was a good time to get started with it. I took a large load to our local Goodwill store to bless others. Yay!
I'm all done in that room now except for the closet, which is mostly reorganizing and tidying up, with perhaps some decluttering. We shall see.

    February 11: Rest Day
February 12: >90 minutes - Deep cleaning and decluttering
February 13: 30 minutes - A.M. Walking with Debbie Rocker
    February 14: 2 miles - Burn 30, 20 minutes Firm 30
February 15: >90 minutes - Deep cleaning and decluttering
    February 16: 3 miles - 5 Boosted Miles, miles 1, 2, and 5
February 17: 2 miles - Belly Blasting Walk
February 18: 20 minutes - Walk Blasters Light Walk & Flexibility Walk (Light Day)
February 19: 3 miles - 3 Fast & Fun Walk, and 10 min. Flexibility Walk

    :flowerforyou:

I think my favourite walk is 5 boosted miles

Been awhile, went away for a long Valentine's weekend, but was back at it on Monday. Monday was a long walk with the dog + burn 30 & firm 30, Tuesday was a walk on lunch break + a long walk with the dog & firm 30, Wednesday it was so beautiful out I got in my first jog outside of the year! 3 miles (but unfortunately really aggravated my plantar) + a walk on lunch break and a walk with the dog. Today was firm 30 & possibly a walk on my break if the weather holds out. My foot is still super sore today so I don't know how much I'll get in.

@texasgardnr, I’m so happy to hear you had family visiting and I bet it felt great to deep clean and declutter that bedroom.

I’m home from work the next 4 days so plenty of opportunities to walk on my treadmill. I was able to walk outside this week as it was 71 degrees on Wednesday. And then it snowed a bit yesterday. Oh well...I hear Spring clearing her throat and warming up with some scales backstage so it’s only a matter of time before she’s front and center.

My wonderful Dad pointed me to an interesting book that’s an alternative approach for playing the guitar. Since becoming the best guitarist I can be is one of my chief goals, I downloaded the Kindle version. So I’ll be treadmill walking and reading a lot over the next few days. So excited!

    Keep walking, Everyone!

    2 Miles on the treadmill.

We are dealing with some serious flooding issues in my area locally. A few counties have declared state of emergency's and our "big" city has closed access to the River.

19.34 Miles tracked last week. A bit of a drop from the week before. 2 Days left in this month. This month went faster than a 3 mile Walk with Leslie. ;)

Did 5k with a twist this AM.

@Deeder522, stay safe. I agree that it does sound quite scary for you <3.

We have had rain in our forecast for quite a number of days now, but not that much total rain has actually fallen in my area, although it has been wet and cold most of the time. There is still more possible rain for at least 6 out of the next 9 days. We need some days of steady soaking rain around here. I wish you could get rid of some of your rain by sending it my way.

@themedalist, I know that you surely enjoyed that walk outdoors in 71 degrees! Enjoy reading the book about an alternative approach for playing the guitar while you are on the treadmill! Happy walking!

@PinkyPan1, Well done meeting your goal. You are doing awesome with your miles and golfing!!

You had me LOLing when you wrote "This month went faster than a 3 mile Walk with Leslie". So very true!! and well said  . I like the 5K with a Twist walk when I need motivation because of the (false lol) perception that the miles are going by faster than they really are :o .

@AnnofB, You are doing really great getting in walking almost every day, looks like you are meeting your goal quite nicely!

    February 23: Rest day
February 24: Finished the room I was deep cleaning last week by finishing cleaning and decluttering the closet today! Room is completely done now, and a big box of games, toys and puzzles etc being given away. Latest declutter project completed!
    February 25: Rest day
    February 26: 4 miles - 5 Boosted Miles, miles1,3, 4 and 5.

Only two more days left in our shortest month. It seems like it just flew by for me also.

    Walking Happy :flowerforyou:

Thanks, Mary. It's the first time in a while that I have met my monthly goal. Not sure what I will do for March, will have to think on it.

Good on you getting your cleaning and decluttering done. That's plenty of exercise in itself. You are rocking those boosted miles. What do think of them? I noted that in several, Leslie walks around quite a lot and chatting with the walkers. I told my husband it's because she's exhausted from doing these boosted miles. :D

February 27: Almost a rest day - 30 minutes - 3 Walk Blasters, Light Walk x2, Flexibility Walk. Another almost rainy day. Not enough to do much good, but enough to give me another weather headache

@PinkyPan1, A lot of golfing miles! Well done o:)

@AnnofB, You're welcome, Ann! Yes, all that cleaning and decluttering was a lot of exercise indeed! Thank you!
I do like the 5 Boosted Miles DVD. It is a fun workout, and a good workout to be sure! Yes, I also noticed that Leslie was stopping her leading and walking around talking and chatting with the various walkers. I thought the same thing that she must've wore herself out with all that boosting. She had me pretty near worn out with the four miles yesterday  Now I have a new goal to conquer the whole 5 miles one day :p .

  • I fell off the MFP wagon a while back, but I am back in here now with a fridge full of healthy groceries and motivation to get moving again. Does the March challenge continue on this page, or do I need to go somewhere else?
