I am down a little from last month. Not nearly enough though. I think I will have an egg and a piece of toast for breakfast tomorrow. Let's see if that helps curb my sweet tooth.

146.4 this morning at 5:00. No walking but workout w/trainer at 4:30. I think this is Day 11 of my streak!
Shelley, I drink citrus water during the day. That helps me curb my hunger.
Here's to a great FRIDAY!!!
Chris0 -
192.2 this morning. Down a little from last week.
Kathy1 -
Kathy that is fabulous. You are doing great.
Chris it is amazing you still have a personal trainer. Way to be.
149.6 this morning. Walked the kids at the park.

Great goings, Kathy!
Shelley, she's great! I'd be a big mess without her.
146.4 this morning at 5:15. Walking w/DH then yoga w/DDD and our trainer then a walk w/DDD, Ronan and DH down to where SIL is coaching a high school rugby game. Should be a fun morning.
Chris0 -
173.5 less than the start of last month. Have been walking again this week. Hope to keep it up.
paula1 -
Chris I love walking with my daughter. Hope the game was good.
Paula less is great. And walking is good for body and soul.
I did not weigh in. Got up, showered and went outside. Our son and a friend came to help put up the second half of the solar panels. DH and son went up on the roof. Chuck and I carried the from the garage to the scaffolding. Then I climbed up and helped him get the panels up onto the scaffolding. Then helped the roof crew get them up the rest of the way. They are large panels. All done now.
Then we returned the scaffolds, walked the kids and went to a benefit dinner for the local high school band. Now I am relaxing.

146.2 this morning at 6:30...sleeping in is great!!!
Shelley, rugby is my least favorite game. SIL has played it since he was really young. There is no protection at all. Nick practiced a long time with all his friends. It was more like touch rugby. He was really fast. He was a forward...he carried the ball a lot. His first REAL game was heart pounding. I was screaming from the stands...good thing they couldn't hear me. I had to cover my face when he was at the bottom of a 10-man pile. They won, but when the game was over, Nick got into the back seat, laid down, and said, "Yeah, that was my last rugby game." I was happy!
Walking w/DH then haircuts w/DDD then shopping.

Good morning!

Chris, OMG!!! Too adorable!1

Very cute.
150 this morning. My solar panels have only been averaging about 5 KWH daily at this time of the year. With the larger panels on the SW side we did almost 23 today. Super happy.
Shelley0 -
Very cool, Shelley! I'm so impressed you guys do all that stuff yourself. The hardest thing I do is press the buttons on my phone to call the guys out to do it.
147.0 this morning at 5:00...sigh...Day 14 of my streak, but I'm getting tired of this HIGH 140's stuff. Five more weeks until cake and ice cream. V-day will probably be a kiss on the cheek and an "I love you!" No candy for this kid.
Early R&B pickup so no walking. Meeting w/our trainer at 12:30.
Chris0 -
Thought I already did this. Brain fail!!
146.8 this morning at 4:00. Day 15 of my streak. We walked in the dark to the post office to mail our bills. We get to keep the house and the new car for one more month!! Ronan was a joy. We went to a new park in Brentwood...an officer was there trying to talk a homeless man down from the climbing/slide/swing/gym set. We came home to Oakley. Very surprising.
Hope everyone is doing okay.
Chris0 -
Chris I want to walk in the dark with you. I miss doing that. Great streak you have going. Homeless people are unpredictable. Many have mental issues, and or drug problems. And officers have to be able to diffuse situations. I arrested a guy yesterday that was a real jerk. Good thing another officer showed up.
149 this morning.
Shell0 -
If it makes you guys feel any better, at least you aren't in the high 170's like me. freaking out!
Signs of trouble:- You buy girl scout cookies to help friends daughter, discover mint thins are dairy free, eat three quarters of the box
- the seam in your pants bursts. at work. you're glad the zipper didn't go too.
- you hit your highest weight in over three years
- absolutely. nothing. fits. you have three things you can wear. people will notice...
did i mention freaking out!
paula1 -
Paula...no freaking out...breathe. Get back on track and breathe.
You can do this.
Chris1 -
Was actually back down to 173.5 today, (177 yesterday) - a lot of water in on cookie day and water out yesterday. Plus freaking out means not eating and getting faint with hunger.
Coworker birthday lunch today at hamburger joint. I'm allergic to dairy and don't eat red meat, so my options were red cow-burgers; dairy-marinated chicken, caesar ranch salad or creamy soup. I had french fries.
Somebody put girl scout mint cookies out - nasty nasty nasty nasty nasty - there was one left at end of day and none of them residing in my tum-tum. Not for lack of devil whispering ...just one, little girl... trusssst meeee....
Chris, thanks for support offer. I seem to be okay. Did something weird. will write about it later.friend
paula0 -
Anytime, Paula. We're here to help each other through the rough patches. You made some great choices today. And nice work on the weight, but don't quit eating.
Chris

Shelley, why do you like to walk in the dark? And does your DH like to walk in the dark, too?
Day 16 of my streak. 146.2 this morning at 4:00. Cold, dark walk this morning and tomorrow morning. However...our days are like spring time around here. Sunny...bright...kinda warm...No Rain. The No Rain part might be a worry, though. California droughts are no fun, that's for sure.
Worked out w/our trainer for an hour today. EGADS!! She is tough on me!
Chris0 -
Paula you are so right, nasty cookies. How dare they lay there and stare at you. And I am so proud to be your friend, what will power to not eat them all. And Chris is right, you must eat.
Chris I love the dark. It is peaceful in a way that busy days are not. I lived right by 3 lakes when I was in high school. Two blocks one way and a mile and a half another. I used to walk down by them all the time. It was cool in the summer to wait until just after night fall. Then I worked for years until 1100. And it was a great time to go for a jog. I also love early mornings. Still cool and the birds are up singing.
Oh, I was up to 151 this morning. Not sure how it happened. Hmmm, not logging did not help.
Shell0 -
The weird thing that happened, was a thought, if my kitty-child's life depended on it, could I hold off eating. Well, of course I could. So then it felt jinxed - now I must stop or it means I don't care about my kitty-children. So temptation is now being accompanied by "don't you care about your family" and it's keeping me honest, but it's kind-of creepy.
paula0 -
Paula, well...I like your creepy if it's working for you!!
Shelley, too many things my imagination sees in the trees and down the paths in the dark. Give me sunlight and warm and I'm happy.
I'll give the Girl Scouts the cost of a box and tell them to donate the box to a needy cause.
Chris0 -
146.8 at 4:00 this morning. Walking w/DH then picking up the boys. I am so sore from my workout yesterday!!
Chris0 -
I don't know if you all read/believe your horoscopes...but...here's mine for today...Avoid indulgence, poor choices and abrupt actions. Too much of anything will end poorly. Focus on helping others. So, I think that means I have to stay out of the pantry, not go down certain isles at the grocery store and finish the cut-outs for DDD's classroom. Does that sound about right to you guys??
Chris0 -
Sounds like sound advice for every day, Chris, maybe I'll borrow your horoscope. Do you know what mine said? I'm extremely Virgo-ish.
The french fries converted into a pound of wibble-wobble. Up to 174.5 today.
paula0 -
Be careful how you handle domestic affairs. Ask questions and remain calm. Virgo for Thursday.
Chris0 -
Like who would cRe for your kitty child if you don't take care of yourself? I so get it my morbid friend. Noons would care for my fishes like I do.
Shelley1 -
145.6 this morning at 5:00...maybe...no walking, early R&B p/u, trainer at 1:00.
FRIDAY!!!
Chris1 -
Was really good yesterday - down to 172.5 today - fighting...Be careful how you handle domestic affairs. Ask questions and remain calm. Virgo for Thursday.
Chris- The questions should probably be "Why do you listen to that inside voice?" and "Why do you need more?" and "Do you really?"
- The answer to the inside voice's questions is "No! No! No! You can't have just "just another bite"!!!" (but calmly... without the exclamation points...)
you both
Paula0 -
Your answer, Paula, is right on! And it is a good fight, my friend!
Our trainer went a tiny bit easy on me today...but not much!! A lot of new things hanging from her ceiling...rope climbing stuff and other stuff.Yeah, I'm gonna have to remind her that I'm old...
<--what she does when I say *kitten* like that!
you too, Paula!!
Chris0 -
Sounds fun Chris. And Scarry!
Paula I have not written down my weights. Other than here. I love the chart idea though.
149.6 this morning. I was bad today. Tomorrow will be good.
