No news tonight friends. Just a lot of back and forth with auto insurance companies. Apparently the girl who hit me is MIA. She won't return phone calls from her insurance company. I have two doctor appts tomorrow.
But on the bright side, I was able to complete a 3 Mile WaH American Heart Association Walk
(which I probably won't do again because the constant countdown on the clock made it feel like the longest workout ever!)2 -
VeggieGirlforLife, I hope the insurance companies get it straightened out soon.
Lol about the constant countdown making the workout feel like the longest workout ever.0 -
2 miles with Leslie and a mile with Jessica Smith this AM.

WaH Mile 1 from 3 Fast and Fun Miles
Accident update: My pain has increased significantly (and I normally have a high pain tolerance). Visited primary doctor plus my chiro today. Diagnosis: moderate whiplash, severe muscle spasms and injury in the neck and it's possible I did have a slight concussion. Dizziness should taper off. I've been given muscle relaxers, but will try only a half of one at bedtime as I work full time and need a clear head and to be able to drive. My chiro has me doing an ice therapy for my neck for 4 days. This will be followed by seeing a massage therapist next week with some at home stretching. Then back in with these two doctors again the following week.
All of this because someone was distracted while driving and ran into me! What a mess.
Thanks to all friends here, for your positive messages! I hope you all are able to keep walking and stay strong!2 -
VeggieGirlforLife, I feel so bad for you. I hope the med's and the therapy will give you some relief. Hang in there. I do think you have a wonderful attitude and that is going to carry you through this difficult time.1

Daaannngg Girl. Hopefully, they find the girl and everything can start to get straightened out. We recently installed a dash cam in our car b/c of how many close calls we've had just this year alone.1 -
Still feeling pain, but I need to keep moving. It's vital to my body and spirit to have some exercise every day. I must say, I really miss using my Miracle Miles band!
WaH Walk 15:
1 Mile with Leslie &
1 Mile with Nick
@Deeder522 It's sad that you've had to install a dash cam due to other people's lack of attention or just recklessness when driving. Hopefully you'll never need footage from it.
I'm amazed how badly I've been hurt by this accident ~ I think my body is in worse shape than my car!2 -

Last night I did 2 out of 3 segments from The Walk your Blood Sugar Down on youtube.
It was a nice change but a bit odd. As a whole, it's 2 miles but it's broken up into 3- 10 min segments. So you have a 20-second delay between each segment.1 -
2 Miles: 1 & 2 from Fun and Fast Miles
@Deeder522 I've seen that one YouTube and wondered if I'd like it. From your description, I don't think I would. Does it have one warm up and one cool down for the whole 2 miles?0 -

Yes. There is a 5 minute warm up to start with and pretty much the same with the cools down. It's was nice for me as I used it just to hit a ring goal on my watch and that's all I was trying to do. As a real walking workout, I don't think I could use it.0 -
About 3 hours of yard work today got me almost 4 miles worth of steps.1

Way to go @PinkyPan1!
5 Mile Fat Burning Walk
(I find these older versions to be easier since I can't do high impact or use strength bands right now. I modified almost all the upper body work in this one, but was able to complete the miles.)2 -

New video posted to YouTube tonight. It's 2 sections from her 10 Different Mini Walks. I did that. I'm hoping to hit my monthly goal tomorrow.2
