I'm hoping to get a long dog walk in today and a kettle bell workout. Determined to see a shift in the scales again :#

Feeling a little bummed as I've lost exactly 20lb but can't see any difference in myself (or when trying to fit in my clothes). I've got another 30lbs to go before I'm at my "preferable weight". :o Here's hoping the next 30 come fast :D

Try to meassure hips, waist, chest, arms, thighs and so on...so when you dont see it yourself, you can see the measurement.

Myself, I dont see much difference mostly because I see myself everyday. But I know I've lost 12 cm ( almost 5 inches) around the waist since february.

Good thinking! I actually took measurements before I started so I'll try dig them out and compare :p:#

Have you done comparison photos? I find it's hard to see a difference in the mirror but either measurements like @karsei01 mentioned or photos help!

Sorry I could not post yesterday. I was busy basking in the glow of my 1.4 lbs for the week...
I am loving the warmer weather and adding to my morning treadmill walk by walking around the block in the evening when I get home from work. A twice a day exerciser-the new me! i like her!!

Awesome job getting out for a second walk!

I completely forgot to post my weigh in yesterday. Hoping the gain was in muscle, although I'm unsure if I feel any better about that ...

Regarding the topic of before and after photos, my wife took this one of me two days ago. Even when I find it hard to see differences day to day, I was kinda happy when I saw this one.

    YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! B)

I expected this! Made banana bread two ways last night and definitely ate some of both. At 11pm. (It tastes better the closer to midnight is it btw) This was in addition to a few other off plan nombles. My friends husband is in the hospital and I stress bake.

In all seriousness though I upped my weights this week and had some tough workouts so I know it's a bit of water retention as well. Next week the scale will show me love!

I was so tempted not to post this, I really was, but accountability is a @#$3. Not to make excuses but RL was a terror and I fell back on bad habits. I must have stepped on my scale about 20 times because I could not believe I did this much damage in the space of a week. Here's to hoping that some of that is at least water weight. :#

Try intermittent fasting for a couple days. It might shed the water weight.

The first is from september, but could have been in january, since I didn't start losing before early february.

So far so good. I set a target for 215 by next week, so .4lb should be possible (even with the celebration of our national day on thursday).
Had a calm weekend. We had all the kids this week, so pretty busy with four kids at home (don't know if the 14yo stll count as a kid?)
BBQ, sun, laughter, Marvel movies with the oldest. Should have been working out a bit more, but it's not always easy to find time (and my wife is having her exam next week, so studying hard all the time).

New week, and new possibilities (and lots and lots of deadlines at work...)

This makes me very sad. I haven't had a gain in awhile. I hate to gain and let the team down. However I have 3 children and they wanted to take me out separately to eat so I did. And I should have ate better but with Mother's Day I kind of let loose a bit too much. Dinner with my youngest Friday night. Breakfast with my middle daughter Saturday morning. Out for ice cream with my son in the afternoon. Pizza for dinner then a church potluck last night. For as bad as I ate for 3 days I'm so happy the scale only said 204.6. I was really nervous. I promise I'm back on the ball today and next Monday will be better
