I did it! It happened! I met my goal for July by 8/10ths of a pound!! All of a sudden some water weight just dropped off these last couple of days and I shed 4 pounds. Now, to keep going and doing what made it happen? We'll see. I've not been consuming alcohol, except on Friday evenings (Shabbat, and I've cut back even then), and I think it's made a difference. Probably not so much the calories as the effect of the alcohol on cells, etc. Guess I'll have to wait till I reach my goal and start maintaining to indulge much in that. It will be worth it. Onward to August!
NSV: I'm noticing that clothes that were snug a few months ago are hanging more loosely. They should, I've lost over 17 pounds, but it's been SO SLOW coming off that I haven't been marking those milestones very well.

Hello everyone! I completely forgot to post this on Sunday. Here are my final July numbers! Overall I’m extremely pleased.
May 9th 2018: 210.4
Ultimate goal weight: 145 Lbs
Sunday 07/01: 195
Sunday 07/08: 194.2

Sunday 07/29: 188.2! So, over a week of eating normally after my terrible flu and I’m still in the 80’s!!!! I’m so so thrilled!!!! I feel great and can’t wait to see what next month brings!
I’ve lost that’s a 6.8 lb difference in 1 month!!!! I’ve really enjoyed this challenge and reading your posts! I look forward to August.3 -

I have discovered this week that I have a sensitivity to provolone cheese: it makes my eyes burn and give me stomachache and gas. I have found that I have a gluten allergy. I used to suffer from heartburn and acid reflux almost daily. Since starting Keto, I don't have either, unless we drift off and having something with gluten, then they are both back by the end of the day, and usually the next few until I am back in Ketosis.
Thank you Kathy. I am sorry I am just responding now. And yes this month I have discovered that for sure I have a dairy sensitivity including with cream cheese. I am starting to think that I could be gluten sensitive as well. And I might be sensitive to some nuts and grains as well like coconut and cashews. Those are the one that I might be trying this month of August or if I can afford it, order a sensitivity and allergy test. We will see. I am seeing an endocrinologist as well and will have my check up this month. I will update sometimes soon.1 -

I am so disappointed that my weight went back UP! But then I looked back over my week, and I totally accept fault for it. Also, I weighed myself the next day and was at 239.4, so I think it was water weight. I totally had a whoosh on Sunday. Either way, I did not do as well as I wanted to. I have not been doing well, because I'm doing lazy keto. I need to go back to strict! Starting in August, going to go back to strict keto! AND I have a goal set: 8 lbs I'd like to lose! Keto on, everyone!3 -
