I had the most whacky thing happen to me today. I was at our specialty vet hospital with my cancer pup for a check up. When I got home, I had a call from my bank saying that they had suspious activity on my credit card. I made a payment on it this morning online and don’t use it out in stores. So there was a credit purchase on it for $275 from Macy’s in which I have not shopped in two years. So they canceled my card immediately and froze the purchase. So I tell the rep that I had something weird happen to me today while I had my dog at the hospital. A middle age women came speedily over and asked if she could sit beside me. My purse firmly against my lap. She does not even sit back in her seat. She has a big leather hand bag with one hand in it and one hand holding it and she says, wait a minute I .....and jumps up and goes to the desk but stands there and asks nothing and then turns and is seen no more. I was in there for almost two hours and I never saw her again. And I look at my watch to see what time it is. So I ask the bank customer rep if she can tell me approximately what time the transaction occurred and it was only a few minutes after she left. I think she scanned my card and may be coming in and doing it to others. How bizarre.1 -

That's scary. I make it a habit to check my accounts a few times a week so I can see A) the bills are being paid as scheduled andnothing funky is going on. A few years ago I caught a purchase for $475 for Nordstrom Rack. I've never shopped there. I was able to find out it was a purchase made to somewhere else in my town. Canceled the card, etc and let Nordstrom's know. Made a report to the police. The officer recommended getting an extra card (it's just me so I always get one) and scratching out the three digit number on the back. If someone has your card, they cannot use it for most purchases without it. We figured it was probably when I used it to pay a restaurant bill and they take your card and bring it back with the receipt. I've been doing that ever since.
Oh yeah, 3 miles today.

We’ve had rain today ... the first in 6 weeks. We’ve had heat too for those y weeks .... the mid 80’s + is very hot for us in the UK. We really aren’t used to itI do struggle running in the heat, which has played havoc with my times .... but I’m still moving

I was in England years ago and there was a heat wave. It wasn't super crazy by any means, but for a country that's not used to it, it was fun to watch the news. I had brought warmer clothes (not my first time there) and ended up wearing a lot of my souvenir tshirts during the week.
