So I'm struggling. I'm so busy all day and when I finally have time to sit down and eat I'm gorging myself. I don't want to hurt the team so maybe I should back out until things calm down a little?
Destiny, is this some new stuff in your life that is making you extra busy, because you have been managing your time very well so far. Does it have to do with your husband's new job? You know I think of this team as more of a support group than a team in a weight loss challenge, so don't worry about the team. Just do what's best for you. Maybe your routine is off right now, and losing weight may not be easy, or even feasible, right now, but don't give up, with or without this team. Don't undo all you have done to date, just try to maintain for right now. It's the phrase "gorging myself" that has me worried for you!! This too shall pass and you will kick yourself if you throw in the towel. (hugs)5 -

My win was although yesterday I was tired all day and kind of had a mind fog I still managed a work out. It wasn't my usual amount but I did something.
I have noticed my rest days have altered and I don't know how I feel about that. Usually my rest days are just dog walks but no real cardio or strength, lately my rest days have still had some major workouts in them I was wondering if it was healthy to go as often as I do? The last rest day was two Saturdays ago and I still managed a 90 min walk
I am no expert, Steph, but I think walking on a rest day is okay. I have another friend on here who has lost a hundred pounds, and is now a gym rat with muscles and she does cardio on her "rest days". She is a little obsessive, but still.

My win for the day happened at lunch. I was so hungry and really thought about taking a bag of bagel crisps and munch away with some hummus (bagel crisps are crazy high in sodium) but instead I decided to make myself some eggs for the protein. It was a close one.

Well, I weighed myself this morning, and I am down a pound. Which is awesome, of course, but short lived, I suspect, as we are spending the weekend at my brother-in-law's with four other couples. There will be lots of food and alcohol. Fun....but, oh my!!5

Honestly not sure how this happened. I had a down week emotionally. Lots of stress, very little sleep every night and no exercise.
I did stay in a good calorie deficit all week. I did move around the house doing misc. housework.
I’m thrilled with the loss. It just seems unreal. I weighed myself 15 times before I finally accepted it as truth .4 -

I would take that bet all day, Erik!! You are not gaining, so take that as a win, or a diet break, or whatever you want to call it, but it is okay for now. You are not derailing any progress, just slowing it down. You will find your way back, when you are ready!!5 -

It happened because you were in a deficit all week!!! Exercise is great for many reasons, but not necessary to drop a few pounds!! Take it and run, Mike. Consider it the ray of sunshine in an otherwise dreary week!1 -
