Hello guys! Sorry I am just getting to post. I started a post on Sunday on my phone but somehow my phone had a mind of its own and wanted to switch to a different app and I lost my post and didn't feel like retyping it.
Sunday's weight was a whopping 175.3 Boooooooo!!! This is an 8 pound gain within a week.
I did a low calorie day on Sunday and yesterday's weight was down 2 pounds to 173.3
Yesterday was a higher calorie day (I ate over my allotted calories being that I attended a birthday party, had 2 plates of food and also had cake) and this morning's weight is back up to 174.6.
My new schedule is:
My full calorie days during weight loss mode are 1200 calories. I just called them full calorie days so I won't have to change when I get to maintenance. My full calorie day will just be whatever my new calorie goal is for the stage I am in. All calories will be consumed in OMAD.
So today, Tuesday, is a zero calorie day. I have to make sure I don't cave, my mind is already telling me I can just make it a 500 calorie day, but my mind doesn't know what it is talking about and I must ignore it. If I don't overdo my calories, and get back on top of my water drinking, I think this plan will work and can be my forever plan (My take on ADF)
I am hoping to be back in the 160's come Friday with weekly progress going forward.
Happy OMADing everyone0 -
Tracey glad you are back. The plan looks so doable and sustainable for when you get to your maintenance stage (which won't be long).....
You got this!

Back on it with a vengeance - you’ve got this!0

Good evening all, I had an epiphany today. A new thought on my zero calorie days. A zero-calorie day is not a water fast day. It is a zero-calorie (net calorie day). The only calories I can eat that day are calories I burn off through exercise. If I don't exercise, I don't eat. This will force me to get some exercise in and allow me to eat on the days I am not officially scheduled to eat. With this update, I am going to have two zero-calorie days each week. My new schedule will look like this:
On my specified number of calorie days, I will not eat back any exercise calories and will stick to eating only that day's designated number of calories which in weight loss mode is 1200 or 500 calories
Today I burned about 450 calories through exercise and I ate 340 calories so I was still at a calorie deficit. I really like this new plan.

This morning's weigh in 170.6 pounds.
An overnight loss of 4 pounds
I have been looking into the accuracy of fitness tracker calorie counts and it is not good at all so on my zero calorie days I am going to just be eating half of the calories that my trackers say I burned.
Yesterday my exercise calories burned was 609 and I ate 343 calories so that was a bit over half.
I was thinking about upping my full calorie days to the maintenance level of my desired weight (145 pounds). I was thinking that the accumulated deficits would be too low since even my full calorie days are deficits.
The maintenance calories for a 145 pound female my age and height is 1,786 calories. If I were to do this, I would just up my calories on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays to 1,750.
What are your thoughts?

Ok, this is my final post regarding my new plan. I have finally figured it out and my plan now is as follows
This equates to a daily calorie average of 1,092 calories.

I think that sounds great Tracey! Looking forward to seeing your results!!!0
-
Sounds like a great plan!!! I tend to work better on these type of cyclical plans rather then a set cal threshold every day kinda thing - NICE!0
-
Hi Tracey, I try to keep my calories under 1200 and the we , I have more, so your final plan looks good to me, good luck and have progress, that's all it matters!0
-
You’re amazing. I wish I was at that stage! The calorie counting is really tough for me and I don’t think I could be that disciplined every day.0
-
Sounds like an awesome plan0

I love this new plan Tracey. I think it's a great idea to do calorie cycling as I do the same thing except I dont count calories. Instead I just eat less food on certain days because I really hate counting calories0
-
I am just counting calories for the start to get an idea of the calories in the foods I eat most and then once I can gauge it by sight, I will stop with the counting. I really dislike calorie counting as well.2

WOOT! You always kick major butt when you get back to it0

Had a 1 pound jump in weight this morning (171.6) which was to be suspected since the 4 pound loss yesterday could have been mostly water weight. I am keeping to my 1200 calorie day today and we will see where I land in the morning.0
-
Not bad at all0

Tonight’s meal. Rotisserie Leg quarter, loaded cauliflower mash, and broccoli and cheese. I also had keto coffee, chocolate kale shake, and acv, lemon, and water drink. Today’s total calories - 1150 calories
