It sounds like you have a really big country property. Good for getting in some exercise!!

    Definitely an easy exercise option!
It’s not too big of property, only 2.5 acres. It’s heavily wooded so lots of deadfall. I grew up on 25 acres and my grandma had 100 acres. I have always wanted a lot of land. I think my dream is a 100-500 acres on a rolling landscape with a nice river running through it. It’s on my Christmas list. I believe I’ve been nice this year so maybe just maybe Santa will deliver :)

I'm going to have to weigh in a day early as going away for the next few days.
    Current weight 186lbs - maintain.

Easy to see why in terms of food. I havent logged snacks this week. Some awesome workouts this week though as know I'll have 5 days off now. Shaved another 20 seconds off the time it takes me to run a mile. This time last year I couldn't run more than a couple of minutes at a time. Thrived on the most difficult taekwondo session we've done (although my legs hurt a lot today).

1lb away from a 100lb loss - would like to go into 2019 100lbs down so that's my aim between now and new year (more ambitious goals can wait til January now).

Have a great festive period everyone!

I don't think I realized that you have been on this journey a while now, losing 99 pounds to date!! Congratulations!! What a great NSV, to shave off 20 seconds from your mile run, and then to realize that last year at this time you couldn't even run a mile!! We would all love for you to reach that 100 pound mark by the New Year!! Enjoy your time away!!

Thank you so much. It’s been an amazing year. I just really want to keep momentum going (and this group really helps with that - I think I’d be maintaining more often without it). I really want to get into the normal BMI range this year (I don’t think I’ve ever had a normal BMI). It’s about 35lbs away now. All my goals seem so much more possible now I’ve come this far. There’s going to be a lot on my New Years resolutions/aims list this year!

Thanks again for the support you give everyone here.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did not even realize I was out of the 30s! 5 lbs down 50 to go. I'm hoping to lose another 1/2 pound by next Friday's weigh in to make it 10% of my goal done.

Exercised: No - had a bad headache today. I’m starting to notice a cause and effect relationship between extra insane workouts and next day bad headaches. Apparently I no longer have the crazy workout recovery ability I did when I was 20, who knew?!

Good job making a cause and effect observation. Now you can alter your workouts accordingly!!

    Thanks, Tami!

Had my husband's family over today. My father-in-law didn't come because he spent the whole day with his mother. Grandma is at death's door, but will not walk through just yet. Other than that, it went mostly well. I did reheat the turkey too long so the white meat was dry and there is so much food left over!!!!!! And being the host, I really feel like I didn't visit with anyone for any appreciable amount of time. I didn't stuff myself as in year's past so I don't feel terrible, so that's something positive.

I weigh myself every day and am amazed when whooshes happen. I basically maintained last week, even with doing everything correct. All of a sudden this morning I’m down 4 pounds to 245 since Friday and am officially in the overweight BMI category! Not that BMI is accurate for me, but it’s still nice not to be considered obese anymore :). My goal is to maintain this whoosh until after Christmas.
