@clepant - hahaha! No I didn't intentionally say "Grumpy before the Dopey Challenge." Truth be told, I'm not really much of a Disney fan, which might be hard to believe given how much time I spend there. They sure do put on nice races though.
Yesterday was a picture perfect day here. I went for a fabulous bike ride (to church because there was stuff grumpy me forgot to do yesterday) on the back trails of my town yesterday. It was just wonderful. I'm at 41/75 and I've lost 2.5 pounds. Going the right way!2 -

Today is a big birthday fo me; although a friend told me that at our age they are all big ones now..lol. Yep, AARP can stop chasing me....it is the big 65! Here is the beautiful floral arrangement my hubby gave me.
Jan.7: Walking my fur pup 5.5 miles
Jan. 8: Walking with neighbor and fur pup 2.5 miles and biking 13 miles on a 60 degree day.
TTD: 52 miles
Accountability Wednesday: 1 pound down/24 to go
Thanks Dave for all the tips.Years ago, a young guy at my dad’s work would walk out the door, walk over near the river bank, scream at the top of his lungs and go back in to work, like nothing happened. He would do this periodically until someone asked what he was doing. He said that he was relieving his stress level.Mine you, This was in the early 70’s during the hippie movement...but it worked for him.I could just see me doing that today. In five minutes, someone would have me in a straight jacket.4 -

No miles to report today, but I said I'd post my weight. Today was 145.8. I'm trying to get to 138. I've been lower and for some reason it's shot up recently - it was in the 142 range. And moving the scale around to different spots on the floor doesn't help - except to get a couple of extra squats in.1

Happy Birthday Char!!! WOW!!! Those flowers are BEAUTIFUL & so are YOU!!! You deserve them!!!
My life has been very full of stress & that is why I haven't been posting (you know, just another thing I gotta do!) but I have updated my ticker for the miles I have walked & I posted my weight. Would LOVE to get back to 130 to 133. I was there a month ago & it felt GREAT.
