    Oh I know but you can go to the states and earn a medal.
    Sometimes you cannot find a state with a race that you can do. This can give you another way to visit states and earn medals.

    I HAD BETTER GET AN ELFING MEDAL!!! LOL!! Sadly, I have so many race t shirts - I now search for races with medals. I just nixed one for this coming Saturday 1- rain and 2 - no medal. :D

    @Beka3695 & @boehle - have you done a Disney race? I did a half with my husband back in 2006. It was wonderful & you do get a medal. Donald for 1/2, Mickey for full and Goody if you do 1/2 and full the same weekend. They have various race scheduled throughout the year.

    2/17 399 (Day at home recovering from previous day of kayaking, probably also put my phone down which records my steps)

    This week will be my biggest week as I have decided to prioritise walking over other exercise, going for a walk every day, rain or shine.

    As we near the end of the month, I was wondering how people are going in meeting their goals?

    My progress so far:
    • I've exercised 17 days out of 23, and for this final week am doubling down on the "every day" goal. This is a huge improvement on where I was in January.
    • I've stuck to my diet 22 days of 23. Only went off my diet one day, for one meal, went over my calories by about 100 cal.
    • Today I weighed in at 249 lbs, so I probably won't get to 245lbs by the end of the month, however, it has been a 12lbs loss so far and I should be able to lose another pound or so by the end of the month to get very close to my goal.
    • I've made sauerkraut and fermented Carolina slaw, and am in the process of making fermented ginger beer. I've been able to eat the sauerkraut, but the Carolina slaw won't be ready for a couple weeks. These are rich in probiotic bacteria, so is all about gut health.
