    First week in this challenge:

    3/26 - 148.8
    4/1 - 145.9

Happy to see a drop! I'm sure a good bit of that is bloat/water weight since it was my first week. Hopefully can use this momentum and keep going. Still aiming for mid-130's by my birthday in June.

***This was a really food heavy week for me because of work. We had our gala so there were lots of tasty treats around, my boss brought in donuts randomly one day, and I ate out three times due to various reason. I made sure to enjoy myself food wise b/c it's not something that happens everyday, but I did make sure to try to stay in my calorie budget as best as I could. Some days I did really well and others were pretty bad, but I just took it one day at a time. My goal was actually to just maintain b/c I knew it was a food heavy week and I didn't get to exercise as much as I wanted to. I was happily surprised by the loss.

I weighed in at 128.0 on Thursday (3/28) and had some treats Friday-Sunday which accounts for some of the weight gain. I also blame TOM which started yesterday evening and, probably most importantly *** TMI ALERT *** I haven't umm... "gone" to the bathroom since Thursday (is there a classy MFP term for this??). SEND HALP. Also my tummy always gets "messed up" when it's my TOM. Anybody else experience this?! Anyway, I am not concerned about the "weight gain" from last week. Actually hoping to see a "whoosh" at the end of this week which I typically experience as my TOM ends.

On a totally different note, I revived my weight loss Instagram page - does anybody else use Instagram for weight loss?? I post what I eat and also follow food pages, fitness people etc. for motivation. LMK - would love to follow you guys there too! :)

Cheers to all! Have a great Monday/week!

I'd like to join! I've been having a really hard time actually committing to losing weight since my daughter was born (which was OVER two years ago now!) and I really want to lose about 15-20 pounds. 10 pounds by summer is probably a bit of stretch for me but I'd be so happy if I could do it! I'm a teacher and our last day of school is June 19th, so I'm going to use that as my official start of summer :D

Last night I weighed in at 148.8 pounds.

I posted this on the other thread but this one is more like it!

Last month was a good month. I worked out consistently and have lost a couple of lbs, body fat%. I have a week of beach vacay next week... so gotta up my game. :D

Magnesium citrate will help with sluggish bowels. You can get an expensive version called Natural Calm which is a powder you mix and drink. When I have taken it at night, it also helps me sleep. But, you can also buy an inexpensive magnesium supplement in pill form...as long as it is the "citrate" version of mag, it will help. Be sure to drink plenty of water!

I have lived in my apartment complex for almost four years and have yet to feel comfortable enough to enjoy the pool! I say this every year but SERIOUSLY - this. is. the. year!

I'm happy to see all shapes and sizes exercising at the pool/gym....shows they are determined to do something about it, to get fit and healthy! 🤩
I used to be self-conscious at the gym, especially of my pot belly (3 pregnancies haven't helped :)). So I wore loose t-shirts. As I have lost some weight (by using the gym) I now wear tighter fitting vest tops.

    Good luck

I'm in! I'm hoping to lose a little more than 10 pounds by summer, but I'd still be perfectly happy with losing ten  I'm planning to start calorie tracking again, and for the entire month of April I'm doing Blogilates' 100ab challenge! I'm on my local swim team, and I usually swim about 2-3 times per week but I aim to up it to 4. I'd also want to start doing more home workouts and run on the treadmill weekly.

I started back with strict keto the last week of March. So these first few weeks were quick, initial losses, probably mostly water weight and carb-bloat. I have a feeling the rate of loss is going to slow down significantly now. This is where the honeymoon with a plan ends and the determination to be consistent has to kick in!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, YA’LL!

I love this challenge. Thank you. I'm in. Going to Switzerland and France July 1. Must shave the pounds I picked up after medicating myself with food after death in the family. Life goes on and I have to pick myself up.

Sorry for your loss. It is so easy to “self medicate” with food when we are sad. Kudos to you for recognizing this and taking action to reign that in. We are here to cheer you on!

Hi there, can I join and make some friends?

I am at 132 pounds and would like to go to 114.. A little more than the title says. Though it might be that I end up being happy with weighing more than 114, as I'm trying to build some muscle and lose fat and that tends to add some weight as well.

Sidenote: English isn't my native tongue, feel free to point out any mistakes, I'm learning ;).

Hi, I'm joining late too. Would love to support each other! I've tried to lose this last 10 pounds for about 3 years and it's very frustrating. I'll have to buy a new scale, I through mine out about 5 months ago from frustration and anxiety over seeing the scale never moving downward... Anyway, still fighting the good fight :D

I think the support is important. I am realizing that in order to get down to the weight I'd like for the next phase of my life, I am no longer dieting. I am making permanent changes in my eating habits that (to a lot of folks) might seem severe. The thing is, a good habit is just like any other habit: it's hard to break once it is set. I have to stop eating after dinner. Full stop. This isn't something I'll get to do again once I've reached my ideal weight and, really, once I've stopped doing it for long enough, I don't think I will miss it. Ditto for certain foods. There are a few foods that are more or less permanently off the table if I want to stay quite slim. But I am so pleased with the new shape -- and so determined to keep it -- that I am making peace with the small life changes necessary.

    Memorial Day sounds great!
I am running a marathon on Memorial Day for Wounded Warrior. After that marathon I have two more! A Bubble run on June 1st with my friends and then a Wine marathon on July 27th.

I have some excess fat on my stomach that I'd LOVE to get rid of and I'm working on my butt lol I'm seriously addicted to Starbucks so I should probably greatly decrease my intake. I love you Chai tea latte <3

Averaging about -1 pound per week which I'm good with. A little slower than I had been losing but that makes sense cause I'm getting closer to goal. Hoping to be in the 140s before I go on vacation (5/11-5/18) although the vacation may cause me to miss the memorial day goal because I've already paid for food and drinks on my cruise so I'm not going to worry too much about logging.
