I lost a little bit. I am surprised that I lost some because I was heavily snacking for a couple of days due to stress Yesterday I decided to shape up and get back on track. I did VERY well Hopefully I can continue this and learn how to cope with stress in a healthy way.

My original goal was to drop from 152 to 142 by June 2nd. I’m currently at 147 with 6 weeks left to go, but I’m at a point where I’m slowing my weight loss to make sure I have energy for my training, so I’ll probably take a little longer than I had hoped. That’s alright though, eventually I will see that number on the scale. And eventually I’ll see the 130s too. Trying to think a bit longer term for the moment.2

Haven't been very strict lately and am almost always over my calorie goal... especially since I was off work last week so didn't have a good routine. But I think just logging and being mindful is helping, because before this I was probably eating 2,500 - 3,000 calories per day ... I do still breastfeed so probably need a bit more calories than MFP thinks I do... trying to be back on the wagon and more strict with my diet this week!

Losing while breastfeeding is tough! I always had hunger pains in the morning because my son nursed a lot in the evening. Bulletproof coffee helped me with morning cravings, but everyone is different.0 -
I know it's not weigh-in time, but I am down to 151 as of this morning! That's six pounds of bloating that went away, but it's also lower than I've been logging for the past few months. I'll take it.7

I weighed 135 after my baby was born, lowest I've been since college, and I LOVED it! I was always trying to find excuses to take a pic, was so proud of how I looked with a baby in my arms. It stinks that my usual maintenance is 10lbs higher than that, and I'd like to see if I can find a sustainable way to get to and maintain 135.0 -

Hello! I am two days early, but I leave town this morning for several days so I thought I'd just record early.

I've started adding a few more starchy veggies and am eating more fruit, but the weight continues to slide down. Since I'm not really dieting anymore, I figure my weight will level off here pretty soon -- which is perfect! This morning I finally got rid of some pants. That's always a little scary. I kept the ones that were just big and got rid of the ones that would absolutely not stay on my body! LOL Wishing everyone great success!

I also need to report early. School is getting crazy! Almost the end of the semester.
For 3 days I stopped going over my calorie limit but then my husband brought home hot cheetos! Curse you hot cheetos! BUT I managed to lose 1 lb. I thought I would gain but this morning I was cheering when I saw what the scale said. I also lost some fat around my waist and hips! I haven't been able to run lately because it is so damn HOT here in Northern California. I'm thinking of buying a fold up treadmill that I can put in front of the tv Legally Blonde style lol

It's probably water weight that will come off soon. Good for you for getting back on track!0 -

4/15 - 145.1. UGH. Wrong direction. I was down to 143.7 earlier in the week, but the weekend did me in. Went to a party with great food and open bar Saturday night, yesterday out for brunch and my daughter baked a cake. I was hoping not to go overboard since Easter is this weekend and I know there will be so much food at my in-laws. Will do my best to stay on track this week and watch portions at Easter.
4/22 - 145.7. Not happy! Was sick last week so less movement and ate way too much. Let's hope that next week I have a better update.

Stalled!!! So frustrating, but I am hanging in there because I know that I feel so much better at a lower body-fat ratio than where I am now. (I got down to the 120-125 range in 2017 and felt amazing.) I am currently dealing with some health issues, inflammation, and lousy sleep. These are also players in this game.

Started eating KETO last week. Making progress!! I feel a tiny bit sluggish in the afternoon but don't feel hungry and I don't mind the low carb part. I'm learning that there are a lot hidden carbs in food. Total learning experience but it's all good.2 -
I am super late to this but would love to join in! I would love to get a little more strict with my diet and exercise and try to lose a few pounds before summer. Looking forward to some extra motivation!0

Started therapy (paid by work insurance.) I eat my pain... generally a bad combo of carby chips/crisps and big hunks of cheddar. Every day I start off fine, but on my night shifts I tend to go crazy eating constantly thru the shift or on the couch while I read on my evenings off. I am trying to do some guided imagery at bedtime after shift or evenings at home when feeling stressed.
So.
Time for accountability on here. Right now it is too much to focus on filling out an MFP food diary again but I will at least be aware of what I am eating or feel like eating and try not to do so mindlessly.

I had bumped up since March 27 to 152 thanks to new prescription (dammmit!) but now back down to 149 again today.... this will be such a loooong slow process. I need to work on my kindness to self and not catastrophizing my slip-ups or med-related upticks.

I have been reading my scale incorrectly. It's analog with lines instead of digital.
SW: 150
CW: 149 (not 144 dummy that's the center line not the 1/4 line)
GW: 135
I feel so disappointed knowing the real numbers. Also this means I was higher than my SW and much higher than I thought a few weeks ago. I know I should take this in stride and that it's just a number and should motivate me to make progress even more, but honestly it just makes me want to give up. Will I ever be back at 135? Why is it so much harder now that I have body autonomy than when I was nursing? You'd think it'd have been harder when I was sleep deprived and not taking care of myself... I feel like now is when it's supposed to be easier, but instead I'm struggling more than ever.2 -
Hi everyone! I'm late to the game but trying to celebrate the little wins and join in the fun. I used to be ~115-118 lbs about 4 years ago and felt and looked AMAZING. I want that confidence back! I only set myself a calorie deficit on the level of losing 0.5 lbs a week, but I've found now that I'm paying attention to what I eat, and stopping myself from the boredom eating that got me to such a high weight (for my height) in the first place, that I'm comfortable with a bit bigger deficit for now. It's going to feel weird when I can just eat at maintenance levels. I've been losing about 2 lbs per week (aside from that first week--must have been bloated the day I weighed myself).
5'2" GW: 115

I have a similar story - gained some weight during a period of intense anxiety (PTSD). I find that eating healthy and staying active is a big help (but I have to think of it as something I am doing kind for myself and not beat myself up if I fall short). P.S. My anxiety didn't really start getting better until a therapist introduced me to Somatic Experiencing. It's been a lifesaver. Sending you strength and a reminder that healing is possible!3
