@Janet - I may join you .... but it may be a very slow mile on the 27th as it’s the day after my half. Training has not gone well. After my last long run, 2 weeks ago - my glutes, Hams and quads have been killing me (again!!) and my sports masseuse was on Jury duty (how could she!!) The half is part of the Rock&Roll series - I think there are only 3 in Europe, but soooo many in the US. I shall Jeff and enjoy the music of Liverpool. Finish Lines - not Finish Times0 -

@k80flec - "Finish Lines - not Finish Times!" Stealing. Let's cheer each other on during the streak. An easy 1 mile shake out run is just the thing after a half! Sorry things are hurting. I'm told that acetaminophen and a smile will cure anything, but maybe they only work when washed down with a glass of wine.1 -

Good news, I had an an emergency appointment with my sports therapist on Saturday afternoon. She did quads on both legs, hams on both legs and ONE hip and buttock!! Shocking, I know. But my word, what a difference she made .... bliss!! I possibly still have some discomfort .... but compared to the undone side ...
This morning, the glute that hadn’t been touched ... I could barely walk until I’d stretched and did the spikey ball thing ..... I couldn’t take any paracetamol (acetaminophen) as I was to donate blood this afternoon (a community service in the UK). I’m actually looking forward to my follow up appointment tomorrow morning.
@Janet ... I totally stole ‘finish lines - not finish times’ , andyes, we can cheer each other on for the streak. I do like a good streak!!

Mercifully cool here in California this morning, which allowed me to go for a 6 mile run. Then took my mother to church. A good day! I'm at 48/75.
