    Mini Ultimate Accountability Challenge - June Week #1 (Sun the 2nd to Sat the 8th)

    Well, it felt like an odd week for the Mini Challenge. It was the first of the month and most people were anxious to try it and have a great start to June, but those that were new to TBBT hadn't quite got the hang of it yet. And then we had all those MFP glitches in the app and the website and with syncing to Fitbit, that it felt like the steam was let out of our tires and even those with good intentions gave up for that week. We had 21 participate, way up from last week of only 10, but of those 21, nearly half were in the "only attempted" category!! We did have six in the Winner's Circle, two more than last week, so all in all, it was a good start to June. @cmhubbard92, @drea2011 and @ForLangston were joined at the top by @abowersgirl, @brandi_84 and @CaroDav73. Congratulations to all six for a great week!! Of note, Christine, Drea and ForLangston were accountable for ALL SEVEN DAYS!! Well done!!

    Winner's Circle - 6 or 7 days:
    @cmhubbard (7) - 18th week IN A ROW in the Winner's Circle!!
    @drea2011 (7) - 3rd week in a row in the Winner's Circle!!
    @ForLangston (7) - 2nd week in a row in the Winner's Circle!!
    @abowersgirl (6) - improved on her Notable Effort and landed in the Winner's Circle!!
    @brandi_84 (6) - didn't even attempt last week; this week lands in the Winner's Circle!!
    @CaroDav73 (6) - a newcomer who figured out the Mini Challenge and lands in the Winner's Circle on her first try!!

    Notable Effort - 4 or 5 days:
    @jrh_this_better_work (5) - first time trying the Mini Challenge and puts in a Notable Effort!!
    @Nicoletime4me (4) - puts in another Notable Effort this week!!
    @pkg1998 (4*) - didn't even attempt last week; this week puts in a Notable Effort!!
    @sandkp (4) - first time trying the Mini Challenge and puts in a Notable Effort!!
    @susanpiper57 (4) - only attempted last week; this week puts in a Notable Effort!!

    Attempted:
    @DreamAchiever33 (3)
    @erikNJ (3)
    @heaz10 (3)
    @murdog3t (3)
    @swauters (3)
    @enyagoboom (2)
    @cossmoss15 (1)
    @LMK02020 (1)

    @Krysless2, I've seen the ads for that Peloton app...it looks very good!! You'll have to let us know your thoughts on it when you have finished your trial period.

    Not my weigh-in time but just a moment of reflection.

    May 2016 Journey SW: 212
    July 2017: 200
    Nov 2018: 189

    2019(Note: When I started logging):
    January SW: 185
    February SW: 175
    March SW: 168
    April SW: 162.6
    May SW: 161.8
    June SW: 159.7

    @Krysless2, a solid 25 pounds lost this calendar year alone!! Very inspirational for all of us, and a great personal motivator for you to keep moving forward on this journey because, obviously, what you are doing is working!!

    6/11/19 Weigh-in
    Weigh day: Tuesday
    Previous Week: 215.9
    Current weigh-in: 214.3
    Loss: -1.6lb

    Nice surprise! I woke up feeling like I was retaining water from the gym, but maybe not!

    @cmhubbard92, well done, Christine!! To lose a solid pound and half even with feeling a little bloated....priceless!!

    I’m omit the power peanut butter chocolate banana protein shake too , just a suped up milkshake 🙂

    @LMK02020, that is true that an old fashioned milkshake is just a whole lotta calories in liquid form, and for whatever reason, drinking our calories seems to leave us less satisfied than eating them. That being said, many people on MFP do incorporate protein smoothies into their daily calorie allowances because it is an easy way to meet their protein macros, especially if they are higher than normal. So don't dismiss it outright; only dismiss it if it is not working for you!

    I fluctuate between 2 & 4lbs but I always try to be deep in keto around that time to help with my bloating and cravings. And I drink lots of water.

    @drea2011, well, I am glad there is a logical, albeit very frustrating, reason behind the weight gain! See you on the other side!!
