I love your primary school tool - it is perfect! Being able to rip one of those off every week or two is a blast. You could then burn them outside and do a mini bonfire dance.1

So happy that I didn't get the pound or so of water weight that I was expecting after yesterday's sodium intake...! It actually went down instead.
Ironically, if I'd kept my weigh in day as Wednesday I'd have been able to post 160, but it's all good. Now to try and make it under 160 by next weekend...4 -

Had a bit of a tough Wednesday night and into Thursday, back at emerg with husband, breathing problems,. but he is ok! Air is relatively bad here right now, very hot and humid, lots of heart patients landing in emerg, Had a 2900 calorie day on Thursday but back at it as of yesterday. Still think I will have a small loss to report on Sunday. One day of emotional eating, not going to slide further.

I ate more this week than I thought I should have as I had a big appetite. My activity level has been very high over the last 2 weeks so it seems to have balanced out and netted me a nice loss 👍 I was really shocked when I stepped in the scale. I have not been below 145 since my early 20’s (now 57). I have great energy for tennis, hiking, walking, badminton, volleyball. My daughter says I’m obsessed with my weight and what I eat, but I’m feeling really good and energetic, better than ever. What is obsessed? What I want is freedom from weight issues. I want to feel good, have great health, high energy, fit into clothes that look nice, have peace of mind and greater confidence. I want to not be obsessed with food and enjoy eating healthy.6 -

The "obsession" question is always a good one. I think we really need to get obsessed for a while to correct the course we have been on that led to bad eating and poor fitness. If it brings us to a place where we feel better and are able to do more, then it is a good thing. I find I'm WAY more obsessed when eating badly, and simply VIGILANT when it is going well. Making sure that things do not go awry. I don't think our kids can get it so don't worry about your daughter's opinion - she has not been there yet! So tell her you are merely vigilant in order to change habits, which, by the way, is really hard to do. Feel proud!5 -

Now, I have to put on my nagging self. All the Saturdays are in ( YOU ROCK!), but there are still some people who are running late. I hope to see these in by tomorrow morning bright and early, y'hear?
