    Going for my follow up sleep study tomorrow night. I finally went to the sleep clinic yesterday and got my results from my sleep study done in December. I hate doctors so I make any excuse not to go. I guess my apnea is pretty severe. So they want to see if the weight loss has made a difference. If not I will have to get a cpap machine. He said the surgery or the dental appliance won’t work in my situation. Maybe this is the reason I am tired all the time.

    I am still struggling with my eating. I haven’t been logging correctly the last few days and I know I have to change that. I am trying to walk 20 to 25 minutes a few times a day. I find that doable. I know I can get back ontrack. I am hoping that September I can get in a routine because I won’t have the grandkids durning the school week and just occasionally on the weekend.

    Good luck with the sleep study. I have mild sleep apnoea, and was having serious sleep issues at the end of last year to early this year, but in the time it took to get into a sleep study (several months) I lost enough weight that it resolved my main sleep issues.

    With any luck you’ll have an improvement too, and, if not, then CPAP - while expensive - will mean better sleep. (Sleep issues are such a problem! Affects everything!).

    I am going to try this again.

    Week 4 goals
    1. Walk 8000 steps every day except Sunday
    2. At least 20 minutes of activity daily
    3. Drink lots of water

    Spent most of the day recovering from 2 busy days with the grandkids. Love them to pieces but they wear me out. Next week is the last week of the outdoor pool be open every day so I am considering taking my gym membership off hold. I am thinking with some of the weight gone I may try a group class or two.

    Back home now but have a mate here and another week of holidays but going to start reigning it back in after today's scale wake up call!

    Week 4 Challenge from Shrinking Assets
    This week is going to be about what makes us happy or thankful. Let’s make a list of those items. But how long is the list going to be? Well, it’s all about your age. Add the 2 numbers of your age together. For example, I am 55, so 5+5=10. My list will have 10 things that make me happy or thankful. Everyday take a few items from your list and share it with the your teammates.
