Some days, I just like to open the daily discussion with a chuckle. Here is a photo of an attorney friend of mine. This was his last day before retirement from the county criminal prosecutor office. He is a great guy who has focused on protection of women and children. He will be missed.
Check out his “shoes”15 -

That's awesome. If I did that, everyone would not be surprised as it would be well within my normal! Although I would probably have gone with the full bunny costume, because I can.4 -
Yes x 3.
My soleus muscle has a partial or micro tear. I was told a week ago that I’d have to wait four weeks before I do anything with impact or run. Then to see how it goes slowly. Full recovery around six weeks. I’m counting down the days. Lifted weights for about 50 min with out any discomfort and made a goal to walk two miles. At about a mile and half felt discomfort, gave in and got off the treadmill right away. I have this way of always pushing through pain and it has caused more damage in the last few years then I’d like to think about. I’m not going to push myself too hard this time. Hope everyone has a great day and reaches their goals today.9 -
Very "bunny"! Congrats on his retirement and kudos for his help in protecting women and children! Awesome.
Sorry about the damage, @lexabeep. Glad you're listening to your body this time. Have a great day!

Haha, most people just call me crazy, but thank you!2 -
Another good day. Started at gym doing my physio exercises and increased weight on those I use weights for plus added 1 round of a core workout (before I ran out of time, must move faster in the mornings!)
Then a few hours at the beach checking up on my fat puppy who is growing well. Dashed back to work to help with morning seal feeds before heading off for another rehab session (I will get cleared with full range soon, I trust!) Home to do laundry before evening Jiu Jitsu class which was taken by one of my all time favourite people and he did loads of drills. I can't do all of them because my shoulder wasn't happy but I did lots and really felt like I worked hard on the mats. Drilled one of the moves against the wall while everyone else rolled before heading to a meeting at church that ended up changing to an ice cream on the beach watching fireworks session!
I truly live a life of abundant blessings.10 -
Oh, good food choices which are all logged including the ice cream and within calorie goal for the day.5

Impromptu outing with a friend tonight. I didn’t get to plan for it. Hadn’t saved up on breakfast and lunch calories or gone to the gym for a serious session...
Pass day #2
But I did get her to walk home a couple miles instead of taking public transportation :-)
I’ve been having a hard time being 100% committed lately. I’ve been tracking but my exercise and eating are just to quite good enough and the scale is not moving. I’m loosing steam. I need to find a second wind to get pass this hump. Trying to take it slow and steady this time around but right now I’m a little too slow. Trying to not beat myself over it and find the motivation to keep going. I’d love to loose 6lbs before the holidays.7 -
