@nbbaby Drink up! I all comes back off! I was up 8lbs from water retention 3 days ago, but this morning it said that I had lost a pound from last week. Salt can cause crazy gains for some people.

Thank you for your support I appreciate it.
Because my son has colon cancer & now it's all through him. I have to go for a Colonoscopy tomorrow and lung test. I'm nervous, I cant eat any food today and tomorrow till after the procedures. So hopefully all of the weight I gained in the last 5 days will go away.

I also have to drink when a cup of water every hour that I'm awake today and tomorrow up till the procedure that should get my water retention gone.
    (Cup half full lol.)

    Wednesday 13th November
    Previous weight- 135.8
    Current weight- 138

God.. not a good week. I was away at the weekend celebrating with my fiance and now am really battling the water weight and now suffering a cold too! It is coming back down slowly but it is so difficult to see this on the scales.
Trying to stay positive and focused. Every day is a new day to make good choices.

A question about fluid retention - I am drinking water, but also copious amounts of black tea every day. I am aware that tea is a mild diuretic, but will the tea still help in reducing the water retention?

    Track: yes
    Calories: Under by almost 600
Exercise: Yes. 2.5 hour walk, 30 minutes weight training

I still feel a bit bleurgh and lack energy even my PT commented on it! It will be a gain this week as I've eaten at maintenance.
1 month to my consultation. I need to sort myself out and get going again!
