Okay F2F team! We are in day 2 starting tmo Monday! Letโ€™s support each other as we go into Thanksgiving! Awesome group! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ

My November Biggest excuse is that I am tired and I donโ€™t want to cook! Excuse! I feel that and I eat unhealthy and it hinders my own NSV. I love to cook, usually! We all have our days.

My NSV with this excuse is to have healthy frozen meals in the fridge when this happens. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

    Hi friends!

    Sunday check-in

    calories- under
    Water- over
    Exercise- recumbent bike

I put in a little extra time as i couldn't resist the humongous biscuit that came with my vegetarian omelet at Black Bear!

    5 for 90
    1. Gym 3xs- went 2 because of being sick, going tomorrow
    2. Exercise 30 minutes- done
    3. Decluttering- none today
    4. Social media- good
    5. Trigger foods- I'm going straight up to Thanksgiving! I haven't decided what I'll do after Thanksgiving, it's going to be 2 months without sweets when I reach it. I can't say I've missed anything, but am looking forward to dessert Thursday!

    Good Morning ...Day 2 NSV..EXCUSES
Geez where do I start..... Well I think the#1 excuse for me in Nov. was that my new prosthetic brace didn't fit right or it made my leg and foot ( what's left them) hurt or it made me too tried after wearing it all day. I made 3 trips to the Ortho medical tech and each time they address the issues that I had and yes it did feel better and yes it was going to make me tired because I was working muscles in my upper thigh that hadn't been worked in a lot of years. I complained to the PT therapists and they told me to suck it up and move forward and Yes i gave them a lot of lip service and said all the things and what thy wanted to hear.
I didn't realize all of this until I had an appt. with my PTSD and Nutrition Counselors last Friday. The light came on.. the realization if I don't do something quickly about this situation I am a dead man. 10 toes up tagged and bagged cause of death...STUPIDITY OF HEALTH, BAD EATING CHOICES, AND A OLDIE BUT A GOODIE BLAMING MY SITUATION STEMMING FROM FROM MY COMBAT INJURIES.
So the leg is what it is and now it's time to get off the EXCUSES TRAIN and press forward in December. A new battle plan has been laid out for me by the PTSD and Nutrition Counselors. Now I have already put into place and pressing on. Oh and the leg it not hinder me at all.

I am so sorry for all you are going through.

I have been made aware of a few books that have helped me get on track, diet and health wise. The Diet Fix by Yoni Freedhoff and currently I am reading The Inflammation Spectrum by Dr. Will Cole. He also wrote Ketotarian (but I havenโ€™t read that one yet.

I also have IBS-C and the specialist said that I have an extreme sensitive stomach also. So I had to eat low FODMAPS. No dairy and no grains. Which did make me feel a little bit better. Then when I went on keto though it was amazing no more bloating no more pain (in my stomach). I never felt better inside than when I was on keto. I also have acid reflux and when I'm on keto that's controlled with my medications. Which it wasn't before that. So I'm starting again today. But it will take 3 days to get into ketosis. Then I can start losing weight again. The first 36 hours is water loss. But after that it's all me. Unfortunately because of my insides, I need to make Keto a way of life not a diet. So the plan is to lose weight then up the carbs just to maintain. I will check those books out though, thank you.
As far as my lungs go. It's been 2 months that I cant breathe. I have a Doctor appt tomorrow again and a lung test on Wednesday. So hopefully the doc with figure this out and help me. Because sometimes it's scary because I can barely get any air in, and the air that does get in hurts. I'm also going to get oxygen too to try to help me breathe.
I'm still working on my son to go back to the doctor to help him with the cancer but everytime I mention it to him he let's me go on the phone or he leaves if he's here. It's very frustrating.
I just dont want to lose my son.
    Have a good week ๐Ÿ’•
    Sharon

    steps nov 26 -- 14069

Gym- didn't make it today but I walked to work about 4.5 km.

Cals think I am on track.

Day 2 NDV excuses- my excuse is I dont have time to post or exercise. So I am trying to do both each day. And like today if I have to go in the office all day I can walk to work.

    check-in Monday
    Steps: 11/23 10,130- and 11/24 19,707

Calories: under - most days, but sometimes into the exercise calories
    Hydration: on target
Exercise: getting 2x a day most days and sometimes 3x a day
Logging: on track, logging the good, the bad and the indifferent

Remember the good, be the good, encourage others on their journey

I'm trying to control emotions this week - I get so wrapped up in work that I worry about what hasn't happened yet. Or, maybe more accurately, I allow potential stress to become today's stress and I allow "Monday-creep." It's really bad when the Monday you are stressing about is a week away... =< It's hard for me to unwind to _today_ when I know my days of non-worry are limited. I also know I am in charge of this...so... Inner struggles can be so real.

On a week of vacation, struggling to not worry about when I go back to work. In the meantime, and what I keep repeating to myself - I am getting a lot of sleep, it's warmer here at the coast than inland, I am getting to walk whenever I want, I am getting to focus on lifestyle food and habits versus the rigors of work and I am with my life's love....truly, life is good. Wash, rinse, repeat.

@nbbaby I'm sorry for all you've been going through. I hope the lung test goes well and it's something easily treated. I looked into a low FODMAP diet but don't have as much going on as you do, just bloating. I'm glad keto has helped your IBS and reflux. Take good care of yourself!

Cover all the Chrimbo decorations, send the Coca Cola truck away, for I am ill!!!!!! :s

Overate Saturday trying to feed the fever and couldn't burn it off. Since then, have subsisted on soup and tea.

Calories: Friday blue, Sat red, Sun red, Mon blue
    Exercise: Fri 11637, Sat 7259, Sun 3495, Mon 3798
Water Fri 15/14 Sat 13/14 Sun 12/14 Mon 13/14 - some of that was soup.

Much wailing, gnashing of teeth, and hacking into hankies.

Oooh - a NSV. Currently wearingmy jeans and trying to get some use out of them as they are way too big now.

@nbbaby I have heard good things in regards to keto and digestive issues. I went Paleo and am doing no dairy or gluten and it has helped my stoma gut issues. That is the beauty about good. Different foods help people differently. I wish you success and healing.
