    My Goal for Nov. will be to continue my walking and workouts at work and make sure I am at 2 miles at least 6 days a week.

    11/1 Workout #227 Cleaning property and vacated spaces. 1 hr 2.09 miles
    11/2 Workout #228 Walking property and cleaning. 1 hr. Pulling peppers and uprooting plants. (No more garden) 1 hr. Cooking and clean up and laundry another 1.5 hrs. burned 1,728 calories doing 210 minutes of cardio exercises, including "Sports" 2.5 miles
    11/3 Workout #229 2 hrs picking up branches & throwing them over a 6' fence into the compost. 2 hrs preparing 3 lbs of peppers for the freezer. 3.09 miles today and sore back and legs.
    11/4 Workout #230 Cleaning property and checking spaces. Had to use the golf cart as my assist. was sick so I was by myself. only 1.63 miles so far for today

    11/6 Workout #238 Walking cleaning property and spaces. 2.62 miles

    3 Mile Heart Smart walk this AM. It's snowing like a MoFo there. It's supposedly Fall but it looks like Christmas morning. My neighbor gave up and put her Christmas tree up this weekend. Michigan is sooooo confused.

    OK, forget what I said about the #$%^&*()_ leaves because my next bit of exercise is going to be shoveling SNOW!!! We have about 6 inches on the ground already here in mid-Michigan and it is supposed to snow all night. As if this is not enough, on Wednesday morning, the temps are supposed to drop into the the single digits like 8F (-13.3C)!!! :noway: Between leaves and snow, I am getting a work out! :blush: I do love the snow though and I can't deny it! I am retiring to the Adirondack Mountains because I so love the winters there. My DH is getting the same storm at our house in NY only he is getting 11 inches of snow! :laugh: He at least has a guy who plows us out up there, but here in MI, we shovel ... rather I will be shoveling! :grumble: At least all these leaves have gotten me in great shape for it. What does Leslie call it ... functional fitness!!! :wink:

    I sucked this AM. Managed to do 2 miles but I could tell my heart wasn’t in it and my numbers showed it.

    @zichab : preach it! Snow and then more snow and the cold. I remember growing uo we had something called fall. Good times back then in the 80’s. ;). At least we got our snow tires on at the beginning of the month. Leaves can wait until Spring....if we get a Spring. Lol

    @Deeder522: Don't you just want to tell all those idiot climate change deniers to come to the Midwest and GIVE US FALL BACK!!!! :laugh: My trees are still full of colored leaves and they look so weird all over the white snow! :noway: We are getting another inch tonight! I have no idea how the city is going to do "leaf pickup" since the leaves they are supposed to "pick up" are buried under 7" of snow!!! I think all the leaves in MI are going to wait until spring to be honest. I am getting a snow shovel work out though so that part is good I guess.

    I think the leaves are done until spring in MI so I will be back to my strength training goals next week either with Leslie and Firm 30 or with the snow shovel, but either way I am going to do my strength training!!!! :wink:

    I took a rest day too. I must have pushed myself more than I realized with yesterday workout. I found myself with pain in my back and sides. I guess my body isn't ready for workouts every day yet.

    @knjstolt : Not a wuss just a wise woman. When I work up today it was 18 degrees I didn't even bother checking the wind chill. I just stayed in my PJ's and covered until I have to get dressed to leave for an appointment.

    @zichab : The leaves are now an interesting topping to the snow. We've had a few clear nights so it been super cold and the sun came out enough to melt things and then freeze happened at night. Sheer ice anyone?? Although, it isn't the most fun right now we have to remember we live in a pretty darn cool state. ( not bragging or anything.) (ok, maybe I am.)

    @Deeder522: I woke up on Wednesday and the thermometer read 4F (-15.6C) :noway: This is no longer fall!!! My DH and I have begun to call it fanter fa(ll wi) nter= fanter!!! The leave looks so strange covering the snow. I do not think I have ever seen this before. Instead of grass peeking out from the leaves, the snow is. We did not get the ice here, but we did get another inch of snow from that same storm. I love winter and always have, but I'd really like it to wait until after fall! :grumble:

    I agree with @Deeder522- @knjstolt -nobody should be out in 22dF for very long and there is nothing wussy about it. If you can inspect from a warm car then go for it and workout with Leslie inside! :+1:

    My Goal for Nov. will be to continue my walking and workouts at work and make sure I am at 2 miles at least 6 days a week.

    11/1 Workout #227 Cleaning property and vacated spaces. 1 hr 2.09 miles
    11/2 Workout #228 Walking property and cleaning. 1 hr. Pulling peppers and uprooting plants. (No more garden) 1 hr. Cooking and clean up and laundry another 1.5 hrs. burned 1,728 calories doing 210 minutes of cardio exercises, including "Sports" 2.5 miles
    11/3 Workout #229 2 hrs picking up branches & throwing them over a 6' fence into the compost. 2 hrs preparing 3 lbs of peppers for the freezer. 3.09 miles today and sore back and legs.
    11/4 Workout #230 Cleaning property and checking spaces. Had to use the golf cart as my assist. was sick so I was by myself. only 1.63 miles so far for today
    11/5 Workout #231 Walking, cleaning property & spaces. 2.45 miles
    11/6 Workout #238 Walking cleaning property and spaces. 2.62 miles
    11/7 Workout #233 Walking & cleaning property, Spraying ants, Shopping @ home depot for stuff for the property. 3.41 miles

    11/10 41 degrees. 1.6 miles out of 2 miles for the day. Felt good to get out and walk the neighborhood.
