Exercise: exercise bike early this morning. Love it when I can get that done!!!
Water: not enough
Tomorrow I begin a 4-day conference out of town. Not excited about the food choices. I’ll have to be careful. I have already packed my workout clothes though and feel like I should be able to workout in the hotel each day. That is my big goal for the rest of the week!

A new team chat will be started later in the week for March. You will post your weekly weigh in and your steps if you join the step challenge in the March chat. Some challengers check in daily but you can start doing that now if you feel like jumping in.

Happy Humpday Teammates. I’m sorry I haven’t been on much this week so far. I had last minute guests that arrived on Monday and they left this morning. I have been doing my workouts and drinking my water but my intake has not been the best. We had Chinese buffet Monday night and yufka kebabs yesterday. I think I did well at the buffet, I really limited what I ate and attempted the healthier choices but all that food is so high in sodium regardless, and the yufka kebab I had half for lunch and saved the other half for dinner. It all still put me over both days and I KNOW it could have been so much worse but the scale is still showing what 2 days of getting off my routine and eating out can affect my weight. I’m feeling very bloated today and I know I’m retaining lots of water. I’m feeling extremely frustrated because I work so hard for the teeniest steps forward and just 2 days can put me back by a full month of hard work.
My February goals are......
Stay on or under my calorie goals everyday.
Drink at least 2 liters of water everyday
Complete 10,000 steps each day minimum.
Go to the gym 4 times a week (❤️+💪🏻 M, T, T, F)
Run 5K on Saturday's
Walk at least 1 hour on Sunday's
Zumba every Monday night (unless class is cancelled)
Wednesday’s are rest day.0 -

Put this behind you and start fresh. The water retention should settle after a couple of days. Drink more water for the next few days if you can.1 -

Happy Thursday Team. Scale is slowly moving down but I don’t think I’m going to have a loss this week. Most likely I will still be up come Saturday morning. Fingers crossed for maintenance at least.
Today is my first appointment with the psychiatrist. Feeling worried. I’m not sure I’m ready to deal with my emotional problems but it may help with my weight loss. Let’s see.

Hey team - It sounds like @mari_moulin and I have had a very similar week. My guests left yesterday also. They cooked for us and helped with the kids which was awesome but the food was a little heavier and richer than I’m used to. But it was so nice to have meals made by the time I got home fro work.
The scale is up today for me as well but part of that might be the new bootcamp workouts I’m doing. I think a lot of this is water because my clothes feel fine.
My goal today is to log everything. That’s a habit I have to build up again.

This week has been a bust for swimming. I have been tired and tonight we had an appointment at the bank. Next week I am going to put swimming back in my weekly goals. Tonight I also had a protein shake for an evening snack. Usually I am raiding the cupboards by now but so far I am ok.1 -

TGIF. Seriously 😒. I’m so over this week. I’m frustrated with myself and life in general. My weight is still creeping down but not down to my weight last Saturday yet. I hope I can reach this by tomorrow but it would mean no weight loss for the week at all. I was hoping I would do much better for February. I’ve been working my butt off. I’ve been doing good with food despite a couple of days of eating out. I’ve greatly improved with my snacking and had some successful weekends minus last weekend. Why is this so hard. 😔
My appointment with the psychiatrist went ok yesterday. Talked a lot about the most recent issues I’ve had but she says we will need to get deeper to get to the root of my food addiction. I don’t know if I am ready to go there. I have to see her again next week and then every 2-3 weeks after that. She has given me homework to write down my thoughts and feelings when I start snacking. She doesn’t want me saying wether it’s good or bad or no judging just writing down what’s happening so we can identify the triggers.
