I am at the shore now. Three of my friends will be here tomorrow to celebrate Brenda. The two who didn't get to go to the funeral really wanted to do something together. I just finished cleaning from last week. Tomorrow I will go shopping quick. We are going to meet up for lunch and shopping. My plan is to follow my hunger scale and make the healthiest choices. Hope everyone has a great weekend and I will check in again tomorrow morning.
@ljdanny I don't know how I missed your post! Hope the baby is here by now and everyone is heathy.
@mrsbell8well I hope you are feeling better by now. That migraine must have been horrible. I hope you are able to start a blog, first day of spring would be an awesome time to launch it.

@tryingagain5 Sounds like you probably needed the rest, between sleeping more than planned and taking a rest day. That is so weird about the battery, I am glad you have a mechanic you can trust that can check the car out.

Good morning! Quick check in as I have a busy weekend of playoff hockey. Yesterday was tough with the kids home due to the school strike. Their teachers piled on the homework and I spent most of the day struggling to get them to finish it. It was not our best day together and one of those days as a parent where you kind of want to quit. So I was not able to exercise, but I did get a lot of steps. Food was healthy, but I did not log. Water was not my now usual 2l due to all of the driving. Hoping that today will be a better day!
@mrsbell8well - Glad that you are feeling better and enjoy your night out! Yes, too bad the Greek Grandmas don’t travel. I should talk to them about franchising!

@rundgrenrocks - Honestly, moms need to get paid for all of this driving! I guess I could drive for Uber! Toronto traffic is so bad, you just never know how long you will be sitting in your car. I don’t want to be dehydrated, but the threat of having an “accident” is real!
@JillyBT - I am so sorry about your mom. It really is a horrible disease and tough situation for your family. You are really so stretched and yes, it is a total win that you did not gain! Try to take care of yourself as much as you can right now. Big hug!

@GingerPwr Yes-you still got out and ran so that is what is important! Sometimes that happens. Your pace has improved overall so one run isn't going to change that.

Hello Team and Happy Saturday!!
The weather here has been surprisingly mild with tons of sunshine. My weight is up this morning but I think its because of the sodium from eating out on Thursday. My friend and I met for lunch but the service wasn't very good, our orders got mixed up and the food wasn't that great. I hate splurging on calories on a less than spectacular experience LOL. Yesterday I spent 3 hours on the tractor moving snow and widening driving areas. Today I forced myself to stay inside and clean... all this sunshine illuminates how dirty my house has become. The battery on my Dyson vacuum cleaner quit on me so I just caught up on 2 pages of posts while it recharges.

My granddaughter arrived yesterday morning just after 10. She had been pushing since 230am. We had to bring their dogs home with us. One of them has anxiety about being away. So Thursday and Friday were long nights. The baby jaundice level was getting a little high so the nurse had everyone leave and said no more visitors today. Just waiting for her results. Tonight's an early bed night.6

Yesterday mom and I planned to shop st 2 grocery stores. I could only make it to one before I was derailed by another headache. Came home took pills and rested for 2 hours. I have some really strong extra strength tension excedrin that I used to take a year ago. It worked. Was able to go to dinner and the event. Lots of fun. Had drunken noodles for dinner. I’m sure they were lots of calories but do delicious!
Molly is being asked to apply for an organist position at a Lutheran church. We have never been to a Lutheran church so going to check it out this morning. I’m feeling much better and the weather is beautiful today.
