Welcome Fat2Fit Challengers

Here is your Team chat room for April 2020. This is where you weigh in every week, post your goals and progress, discuss any issues or topics of interest, share ideas, support your teammates, receive help when you need it, and dream big. Try to post every day, and help each other succeed!

We have six great teams. The group and team leaders are as follows:
Our Moderators:
Liselyn - @jugar
Beka - @beka3695
Lisa - @cafelelia
Teresa - @TeresaW1020

Our Team Captains:
Mission Slimpossible - @broncobuddee and @TeresaW1020
Trimstones - @mulecanter and @jessicakrall8
Weight No More - @sleepymom5 and @cafelelia
Waist Aways - @jugar and @micki48
Shrinking Assets - @Boehle and @beka3695
Downsizers - @lindamtuck2018 and @mari_moulin

Our Team Motivators:
Mission Slimpossible - @AustinRuadhain @katmary71 and @raleighgirl09
Trimstones - @Angmarie28
Weight No More - open
Waist Aways - @Terytha and @conleywoods
Shrinking Assets - @TheMrWobbly (Fitness Captain)
Downsizers - @UTMom81 and @Kres567

HOW IT ALL WORKS:
Every challenger weighs in on their chosen day, every week without fail! At the end of each week, the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!

We also track those small, steady losses with the Green Week count. If you lose, however small an amount, it counts for 1 week in the green. The total will be by month, and cumulative - so you can really rack them up and get to your goal even if you never hit the top of the leader board.

If you need a week off, a break, a change of weigh-in day - just ask your Captain here on your team chat page. If you miss two weigh-ins in a row without asking for a break, you will be dropped from the team, so be sure to ask if you are travelling, sick, or just needing some time off.

In addition to your own team, there are F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, so we hope to see you there often! These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey. Check the Announcements section for full group challenges.

Let’s show our fellow challengers some F2F love!! Introduce yourselves right away, and let the new month begin.

THANKS!

Two days ago we could barely open the door to this room with all the 'get-around-to-it' stuff we had piled in here.

So was the email a passive aggressive way of showing you the door?

I am Beka, one of your Team Captains and Group Moderator. My counterpart and bestie is Julie, aka @boehle, and @themrwobbly is here to keep us moving physically and mentally :)

I am 43, married, mom of 2 daughters, Mimi of one amazing grandson, and human mom to 3 fur babies. I live in the beautiful mountains of Northern Georgia.

I started my journey 2 years ago at 242 lbs, lost down to 174 and maintained almost 9 months before gaining back to 232 in July. I am a human yo yo. Have even considered getting a "DUNCAN" tattoo.. JK - but really...

    April Goals:
    - Continue the momentum I have built in March!!!!
    - not commit a capital offense during quarantine.
    - focus on consistency of steps - minimum 6k a day.
    - Begin training for the Peachtree.... which may or may not happen.

If you have not already, feel free to friend me. Please make your diaries open. Your teammates (umm - or me) might want to borrow your ideas that keep you in check.

It was sent in genuine error. The powers that be still don't know I have it and still haven't spoken to me. Who knows?

Hi everyone I'm Kate, a Brit living in central Portugal. I haven't had the most consistent start to 2020 but last week I refound my focus and want to keep it that way through April.... meal planning, home workouts and isolated walk/runs will help me to keep on track in these crazy times.

Today is the end of term for us and although admin continues over the next couple of weeks the 11-13 hour days are disappearing for a while so I'll be much more present here to help keep me focused, too!

@TheMrWobbly sorry to hear about your job :(

I hope everyone is doing okay. Remember to be kind to each other and yourself and take some time to enjoy this weekend.

    Hugs

Hello all, I am back in for April. Will be working out of the house this week and going to take advantage of being able to go for walk breaks and spend my driving time working out. I have a great office set up and plenty of good food in the house. I plan on focusing on routine, consistency, exercise and logging. SW as of this morning was 169.4. I want to be in the 150's by month's end.

I need to get my butt out and Atleast walk. Ohio has a stay at home order in place but we're allowed out for exercise.i just finished meal prepping breakfast for the week. I'm just so worn out between my day supervisor job and my pharmacy job. People are legit rude. Be kind people, especially if I went grocery shopping for you. You can Atleast say thank you! Be safe and wash your hands!

My next post will show my meal prepped breakfast

To be honest doing it on my own is much quicker and it was a good workout 😊

HABIT TRACKER! Did you know that we have our own habit tracker that is here for you to use? It’s on the main group page, under the announcements called the F2F Habit Tracker-April 2020. Habit tracking works because it gives you a visual representation of your progress. You get to see all the times you’ve done the habit lined up as an unbroken chain. Once you can see your progress, you’re much less likely to skip the habit.
Just click the link and follow the easy instructions and start tracking your habits today! Habit Tracker

    TIP:
I like to bookmark my team's page at the beginning of every month for easier access. Happy Tracking!! ;)

Hello I am Jeanette. Thank you for allowing me to join Shrinking Assets. I live in Texas. I’m currently working from home as a high school teacher.
    Start: 161.5
    Goal: 156.0
I plan to walk an hour per day, log every bite, drink water and stay well!
I do have a few questions.
    1. I understand I need to login my weight on the designated date I chose. Correct?
    2. What other guidelines am I to follow?
