    @Beka3695 I love your Nerd Report! That type of thing is so inspiring to me. How do you determine your Burn rate for calories? Is it based on a step counter?

    I was called in to work this weekend so I missed my Saturday weigh in. May I change weight in to Monday?

    Absolutely! I will get this changed for you.

    My Fitbit gives a daily burn. This is the number I use for my burn. I also recalculate my BMR and BMI weekly. I like seeing this # drop.

    The nerd report is not 100% accurate, but I know if I am losing less than projected for more than a couple weeks - my logging is not accurate and needs more focus.

    Yes for me this week. My goal is maintenance but my weight has tracked a little on the higher side over the last month so am bringing it back down.

    The things I have to work on to get there are better sleep (tricky: between increased stress from COVID-19 crisis, & my daughter without school structure is staying up all night, sleeping all day, and I am a light sleeper so her night time activity affects quality of sleep. Working on stress management techniques.) and increased intermittent fasting (I found fasting very effective for weight loss, but have never been sure how much to do in maintenance: this week I am doing my weight loss schedule).

    So sorry to be late. I am at my parents house while dad undergoes some cancer surgery. I just found my mom's scale so its a different scale, so not sure how accurate. But here is mine:

    PW. 135.4
    CW. 133

    The good news is that I am now walking 2-3 miles a day and tracking my calories closer. 🙂

    @Shandke

    Would you like for me to post this as last Thursday or this Thursday?

    Got a 1/2 pound loss to contribute to the 20-pound challenge. I'll update if I lose more. Stay focused everyone!

    Today's entry in the flower log is a lovely hibiscus (Hawaii's state plant!)

    Uh oh! I hoe it all worked out with the birthday cake! My birthday is Wednesday and im not sure there are any bakerys open so im not sure whats going to happen with a cake this year! Probably would be better for me not to have one, but it wont feel like a birthday otherwise! lol

    Bake One!! It's easy peasy and super fun!! I like to mix two different kinds of cakes together for a marble affect! I'd make ya one if we were neighbors happy bday!!!

    @laurenbargar, why don't you make decadent waffles/pancakes as a cake? Having PB (and banana) as "frosting" would be awesome. Of course, if you have Nutella it's even more special. Yes to syrup on top! By the way, Happy Birthday and many more. :)

    Another cool and rainy day, which kept me indoors more than I'd like. I did a strength DVD with weights/bands and stayed out of the kitchen for a change. I did get out for a morning walk and captured some mysterious pink-purple flowers. Sorta looks like an ice plant flower, but the foliage is more coreopsis-like. Enjoy the blooms!

    I do! 🙋‍♀️ I found my cheekbones! Also, not exactly NSV but I’ve now fallen out of the obese BMI!
