So, for the month of March I lost 13 lbs. I've been looking at the Habit Tracker results, looking at my 30-day Reports, and comparing them to food choices. Very interesting. I also looked at my goals for the month of March to determine which were successful and which not so successful. I'm roughing out what I'd like my May goals to be so I can have them ready for May 1.

In all of my previous weight loss endeavors, I did not perform that kind of analysis. I also did not join any groups. So being involved in the group, actively participating in the threads, and analyzing my reports is all new. Without becoming hyper focused, I'm hoping this kind of focus will lead to a new long-term healthier lifestyle.

@lindamtuck2018 -- I do ... I realized a couple of days ago that I was getting up out of my chair without using the chair arms to support me as I rose ... just standing up (like a "normal" person). ;)

    April’s final weigh in

    173.8 😖

The last couple of days I’ve gotten back on track but my previous choices definitely caught up with me on the scale this week.

Hello teammates! Our April step challenge is coming to an end and sadly we have finished with only 4 out of 7 people reporting their steps. Please rest assured that we completely understand how hard this month has been and many have been struggling these past couple of months. April has been very tough for everyone due to Covid 19 and the quarantine. I know I find it very hard to stay motivated and get myself moving and on track with my food. Please don’t give up. If you went of the rails it’s ok, just get yourself back on it and let us help you get through these trying times.

I will be posting about our MAY STEP CHALLENGE shortly so keep an eye out for that. If you want to join us please let me know and I will add you to the step challenge on our team spreadsheet. It doesn’t matter if you can do 200, 2000, or 20,000 steps a day we want you to join us for the challenge.

    MAY STEP CHALLENGE

Hello Downsizers!! Our May Step Challenge will be starting this coming Sunday May 3rd through Saturday May 30th!

Our goal is to keep ourselves moving during this quarantine. We have no excuses!! We can find so many different walking/workout videos on YouTube. Many of us can still get ourselves outdoors for walks or runs and others have backyards they can use to get those steps in. Or simply move that coffee table out the way and walk in place while watching your favorite movie or TV show.

Our challenge this month is to get our 10,000 steps in daily OR make it our goal to reach by the end of the month! Those of us who are already at 10,000 steps daily let’s set ourselves bigger goals. Let’s see if we can beat our TOTAL last month as a team! Every step counts!!

To join the step challenge, just post your daily step pledge here. Then post your steps DAILY so I can keep a tally. Let’s go steppers!!

    Tuesday check in
    Calories: over
    Exercise: 77 minute walk
    Water✅

    Steps 4/28 11,574

Yup, my calories were over again. I binged last night. This week the binge monster has been a pain in the butt. I need to go back to the basics of when I beat the monster a little over a year ago. Just a little background, I have binge eating disorder. I did therapy for it and it helped a lot. Every now and then it rears it’s ugly head.

Yesterday I walked 5.17km. My leg started bothering me, so it was a slow walk but I did it! We have a lot of rain in the forecast today so I don’t think I will get outside.

    Today’s goals
    1. Do 30 minute indoor walk
    2. No binge eating
    3. Tai chi
    4. Log food accurately
