July 1- WATP 4 mile challenge, love it. 16,666 steps😈. Listened to Fast Food Genocide. Daydreamed quite a bit. Hopefully I will learn to be more attentive. Happy Canada day 🇨🇦
July 2- TEZ, 15,072 steps ( I just discovered I can get miles off of Fitbit- maybe next month!). Walked outdoors, but husband came, thought it would be rude to listen to 📚
July 3- 5 fat burning miles. Liked it a lot. Felt tired but energetic afterwards🥺.13,660 steps. A little Bit of outdoor audiobook but, man, do I ever day dream. Might have to switch to thrillers next month.
July 4- Happy day to my 🇺🇸 friends. 30 days, both segments. 12,761 steps
July 5- No LS, I was sore. I think I need a rest day every 2 weeks. Big outdoor walk, a little bit of book and 17,035 steps 😅
July 6- 5 mile fat burning walk💞, 14,853 steps.
July 7- TEZ. 13,129 steps.
July 8- just felt so blue. No video, only 1185 steps.
July 9- Belly Blasting 3 miles + floor workout. Long sunny walk in Pm. Finished one book ( daydreamed a lot). 17,727 steps
July 10- 3 fast miles. Really enjoyed.12,558 steps and a lot of housework. 🧼

Worked a half day and then got to go home. It was WAY TOO HOT to be outside this afternoon though so I ended up napping and watching a movie with a half pint of ice cream. True story. But then, thank goodness for my pup, he dragged me out and we walk/jogged a field together awhile tonight and burned through the rest of the 10000 steps!3

Worked a whole day then walked with a coworker for 45 minutes outside to enjoy a sunset! Hit my 10k steps. Asked for tomorrow off work so plan to walk in the morning then go to work if needed!1

Walked about 2 hours outside, beautiful weather, 6.5 miles! Have to work today after all so hopeful I'm still able to get out for a long walk tomorrow too if I can muster the energy!2

Hi @bacpath! You can find HASfit on YouTube for free and they also have an app with some free workouts. Coach Kozak and his wife Claudia are awesome. Very encouraging and their workouts range from beginners to advanced, most workouts include modifications. Here is their YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCXIJ2-RSIGn53HA-x9RDevA
I HIGHLY recommend them! I have experienced a positive change in my muscle tone and strength from their workouts. Please let me know if you give them a try and how you like them.1 -

Did a very slow, easy and fun new forested (and very shaded)hike for 1.5 hrs, had an amazing lunch at a summer snack shack and enjoyed a beautiful summer day. Tired but satisfied.3

I ATE WAY TOO MANY calories yesterday and drank more wine than I should have but sometimes we need days like that right?
This morning felt good. I woke up after 10 BLESSED HOURS in my bed and felt totally refreshed. Brewed up coffee and took with me for a long, slow, 2 hour walk in overcast 70 degree weather this morning. It felt good. I walked 7.3 miles and conquered a couple gnarly hills. I had some friendly social interaction with others out walking and biking. I'm settling in for a relaxing afternoon of ALL THE LAUNDRY and redirected my meals to focus on protein and veggies today because I gained a little weight the last few days but I'll round it out with a couple glasses of red wine this evening.

60 minute dog walk in the heat and humidity for most of the steps and then rounded out another 25 minutes of indoor stepping when I got home to hit 10k. Yucky weather here today. Hoping for a nice long walk again tomorrow if the weather is better so I can finish another big chunk of my audiobook.3

July 3- 5 fat burning miles. Liked it a lot. Felt tired but energetic afterwards🥺.13,660 steps. A little Bit of outdoor audiobook but, man, do I ever day dream. Might have to switch to thrillers next month.

July 5- No LS, I was sore. I think I need a rest day every 2 weeks. Big outdoor walk, a little bit of book and 17,035 steps 😅

10k steps inside with leslie, 1.5 mile worth basically at a jog, muted to finish my Audiobook yesterday lol. Weather perfect today as I try to decide where and when to walk. My body feels like sitting outside with a beverage and not moving all day though 😁2

Updated to add that a few minutes after this post this morning I finished my coffee, laced up my shoes, and got outside for 90 minutes. The fitbit has really helped me walk consistently this year. You don't really know the satisfaction of those stupid fireworks on your wrist until you feel like quitting your walk 3 times and think....just a bit further til my wrist buzzes and then I can finish. I think my goal in August will be to embrace the fitbit's full potential to consistently get my wrist to buzz (meaning a minimum of 10k steps daily) and also to make sure I'm up and moving every hour for 2-3 full minutes so that I am responding to the hourly reminder to move (which I still do not do consistently!).3

Needed more motivation than just walking today so I switched it up with a HIIT workout of sorts combining several short routines with boosted miles by nick. Basically jogging and a little walking and a lot of jumpy aerobics and then a little time with my foam roller at the end. OUCH I really should do that more often.
