@HSWLRS : I am right there with the stagnating weight loss and will also try to end Aug on a high note. However, I had a real low note yesterday as you will see. The mistake was wine, which led to bad food decisions.

Aww, poor babies. My old man puppy has decided only a couple of years ago that he is afraid of thunder. I think it is just his excuse to be an 85lb lap dog. He doesn't need an excuse, though.

We had tornado warnings in the area, too, Christine. Just some strong winds at times here....strong enough, though, to lose half of the big old maple out in front of our house! (It always lost some branches during wind storms due to rot). When it came down, it completely blocked the main street. It is all cleaned up now, and the rest will come down in a week or two. It is a shame, because it provided shade for the house and the lawn.2
