    Karen,

It was/is hard for me to give up whiskey. Mostly because it's fun, but it's not as addicting as carbs for me, so it's a little easier. I'll think of you when I'm fighting the urge, okay?

Strange new - empty - world...

    Best wishes!

Paula I might borrow some of that Aleve. Though I think it should be for snacks also. I so know how you feel. Getting out of the house and being able to see people. I hate this covid stuff. So glad to see you are lifting weights and working out again. You go girl!

Chris sending you some hugs. I hope you can find a good book to help lift your spirits.

Karen you are a walking queen. I can't imagine those large empty buildings. Crazy.

Kathy we all feel you. Not being able to go and work out and play tennis. Go to lunches. And do we even want to do those things with the violence going on in our country today. Crazy days.

I have been lifting weights in my basement. But I would also love to get out and do it with other people around me.

Busy busy day. Squeezed in a quick 15 minutes walk around the block today, and did 25 minutes other elliptical just now. Glad I had the energy to add the elliptical in.

    Glad tomorrow is Friday.

Switched it up this morning.p because of the rainy weather. Recumbent bike 60 minutes - 12.25 miles.
I started using the cords on the bike and working the triceps and biceps. The arms always need work! :)

The rain interrupted my morning walk: 1.74 miles - 37 minutes. So I used my recumbent to finish my exercise 30 mins - 6.31 miles.

For the month of October I’m doing the 35 mile Breast Cancer Walk Challenge. I’m excited to get started tomorrow. I’m walking for friends and family, survivors and those that did not make it.

Going to also add more strength training.

    Kathy,
Can I join the challenge with you? Do you have a team?

    Paula,

I’m part of a general state of Georgia team. It’s a challenge I saw on Facebook. It’s call the “Georgia 35 Mile Breast Cancer Challenge”. They may have the same in California. I tried to send a link from the ACS website but I’m so bad at that. I would love it if you joined the challenge. Let me know if you find it. You can probably google it. I continue to try to send you the information. :)
