We got 5.14 miles done in 104 mins this morning. We went out to the ruins...didn't go into the ruins...sigh...a tale for later. It was fun to see all the changes from the last time were were down there. And it was a beautiful morning. A lot of folks out tho. We should have gone earlier. We know better for next weekend.

Assembled a 6x6 ft wire cage for the cats to play in outside. The nice thing about being out of shape is that it's really easy to work up a good sweat without hardly any exertion.

That is a great thing you have done for the kits. And I can just see you sweating away while scratching your head trying to decide the best way to go about putting it together. We must have photos!

Karen I am so envious of your walk. It was beautiful here today and I spent most of it indoors studying policy and procedures. How boring.

Chris that is such a milestone. Look at you go now. How is your pain level now? I like the workout combo you chose. Some stretching along with a bit of strength training. As long as I don't knock myself out doing those triceps extensions! :drinker:

Not much of anything today. Busy with mandatory reading. Must be 4, 2 inch binders worth.

Thanks, Shelley. We'll only get that on weekends. Not enough time during the week.

I did a 60 mins workout w/my trainer this afternoon. Thought I would go out for a walk after my workout, but it was hot and no wind. :s

Chris so glad you were able to get in the workout with trainer though. That is the best!

I got home and collapsed. I was wore out mostly mentally. Then I got up and checked my Nitrates in the large tank. Crazy high. So now I am carbin dosing a little and crossing my fingers that the algae scrubber we installed does its thing. I so do not want to lose my fish. I did find the huge turbo snail upside down yesterday. Silly thing could die that way. Flipped it over and off it went.

    Hey Chris,

I've printed out the Darebee's and will do these workouts this month. I'm losing weight and it's probably muscle. Need to start turning that around.

    Thanks!

    Finished the workouts, Chris.

Starting easy but could still feel it - One set each of 10 reps per side:
    • The Workout That Happened: All standing up (can't kneel) except for no crunchies for me...
    • The Ox: 10# kettle bell for side bends & a pair of 3# dumbbells for everything else.

    Multi-tasked today:
    • Walked around neighborhood (think long blocks & hills where you have to stop for a breather halfway up).
    • Brought 3.5# dumbbells and did 2 sets of the OX workout.
    • Broke in new Taos boots.

You guys are walking up a storm. You do know if you turned and headed up the highway towards Casper Wyoming you could be here by spring time. Just saying. :*<3

Paula lift them new dumbbells up and shake them for all women. Like Helen Ready says, I am WOMAN!

Got in some walking. Not as much as I should.

4.3 miles in 93 mins. We went to the Rocky Road that isn't rocky any more because they are going to build a bunch of houses!! Interesting to see the holes they've dug and the things they've leveled. It will be a huge development.

    Hey Kathy,

    Thinking of you.

I just walked 1.5 hours up and downhill yesterday and gained 1.5 pounds. I know it'll come off, but am going to allow myself to pout a little first.

Reminds me what happened to you last month - lots of sympathy ((hugs)!

We did 5.35 miles in 2 hours. We went to the Ruins and looked around. We haven't been there in a long time. We keep saying we'll find out what used to be out there but... It's fun to make up stories to go with the different concrete slabs.

Paula I think that time could be shortened massively. Shorts and a tank top will guarantee you could get picked up. Such helpful folks out there. :D

Chris I would go snooping with you. So much adventure to be had in construction sites!

Kathy I hate to gain when I know I did great! Really ducks. So glad your parents are up and walking also.

Karen I know you ate here moving also.

So yesterday I got in some walking. Today I am working through a headache. Got all the aquariums cleaned early. Now I am being a bum!
