Weight was up last week due to inflammation from my ankle sprain, so loss was expected this week. Took measurements today and in 2 weeks I am down inches in my waist, hips, and thighs, so happy about that.

Forgot it was Wednesday. So I was waiting until I went to the doctor last Friday to weigh but she had to reschedule so I weighed myself on Friday and that was 234. Today was 229. Not sure that's entirely accurate but happy to have some cushion for Christmas if it is.

I'm so proud of all of us!
It's not really about the specific numbers, but the downward trend. No crash diets here. We're doing it right! Good job ladies!2 -
Scale says I gained 7 lbs in one week. I don't think so (or, at least some of it has to be a hydration/dehydration thing). Anyway, will keep looking for trends. I am within my calories, etc. but with me, nothing happens day to day; it can take two weeks to see any effect, by which time it's tempting to give in to the annoyance of the "older woman's weight loss journey."3

Not surprised. Went to my boyfriend's before Christmas so didn't eat great and he surprised me with dinner. Christmas day I met his sister and brother-in-law (actually his cousin but bf is Indian so π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ) and had delicious Indian cooking from his sister and I ate snacks and alcohol because I was nervous π€£π€£π€£ I got chocolate/baking from my parents and from his sister and brother-in-law so I had to finish some, give some away and throw away some π π π
Back to normal except I'm going to my friends for new years tomorrow π€£π€£π€£ But after that, my weight should start going back down slowly.4 -

SW: 212 (a few weeks ago)
CW: 204 (today)
GW: 130
Scale up, scale down every day -- it doesn't seem to have much connection to my calories in/calories out. I have really been being diligent about walking 2-4 miles just about every morning, which means the dog is getting in better and better shape, and then she wants more and more walks, which I don't have time to do! :-) Will hope for some scale victories over the next few weeks.

Go, greyhorses! You have already achieved so much success, as far as we're all concerned. Good luck with that last half a pound. You're awesomely in charge of your journey!2

Hello everyone!
Just want to say I enjoy being a part of this group. My goal next year is to be more active with posting. Knowing there is a weigh in on Wednesdays keeps me accountable with logging and being active. I also like reading everyone's motivational and inspiring stories.
SW: 224.8
CW: 219
5.8lbs lost so far in this challenge and 29.8lbs since I officially started getting serious about tracking at the end of October.
Great work everyone! 2021 is no match for us π3 -
@healthygirlintransit congrats on your loss!!! ππππβ¨β
I've found that trying to post here every day has been sooo helpful for me! I love this idea of setting daily goals π€ even if I don't meet all my goals, it at least reminds me to try and motivate myself every day ππππΌ
I biked to town and weighed myself today. 184 lbs, same as last week π« not a surprise... I can tell i am bloated since my TOM is starting π§ so hopefully next week will show a nice drop π€π€β¨

After 5 days of good food and good times, would have been ridiculous if the scale was going the other way. Itβs so minimal it doesnβt count.
Happy New Year, everyone!

oh, man! Not gonna lie. I was scared to step on the scale today after the holidays and 3 days of a lack of electricity and motivation.

Holiday over eating. However, my weight is all over the place currently and I think it might be because of my osteoarthritis in my left knee. My knee has been crazy sore over the last almost 2 weeks. Doctor put me on a new drug on Thursday so hopefully it works because the pain is just so bad. Fyi I usually keep going if my knee hurts because my osteoarthritis is already severe but this time I just can't. I askedmy doctor if we can amputate it but he said no πππ4
