@k80flec - sorry to hear about the trochanter - had to look that up! I don't blame you (or anyone) for being weary - this has been a long ordeal. I'm in Florida where there is no lockdown, or any other regulation. Last I checked, there is a 10% infection rate where I am. As a result, my husband and I don't go out except to exercise and buy groceries. Not meaning to complain, just saying that even given the freedom to go about your business you might choose not to. So far isolation is working for us. And I learned my 93 year old mother gets her first dose of vaccine on Wednesday. Can't come soon enough - they've had six deaths in her home. Stay well, everyone!1

Now making GOAL are @JOEMO and @KARID1114!!!
@K80FLEC - Sorry to hear you're still having pain issues! Hope it heals for you real soon!
@JANET - You are really on a roll this month!! :drinker: PS - I had to look up 'trochanter' too.
Also, I'm not exactly sure what date it happened, but as a group, we've surpassed the 800K Lifetime Total Miles mark this month!!!

My medical assistant got sent home at lunch since her cousin called to say she was Covid + and they spent Sunday together at a party. She's out for the week. I had to do her job today and it was a mess. I'm scheduled for the vaccine tomorrow. I have to drive to the bigger hospital in the system as they have the freezer for it. I'm going before work rather than sit in rush hour traffic going after. I'll also be doing some fetal monitoring tomorrow on a patient who's husband is positive. She's currently negative but that was a few days ago. I just want to get these vaccines in. The amount of patients we 're seeing like this is rapidly increasing.
Stay safe!

I'm so glad you'll be vaccinated tomorrow. The ER docs across the street from me got theirs last week. I can't even imagine what it has been like for you front line medical people to go to work every day. Thank you on behalf of us all.1 -

Yes, what Janet said. I've been thinking about you a lot lately, @KAR328, and keeping your safety in my thoughts and prayers.

@kar328 - I. So glad you’re getting your vaccine. It will give those providing frontline services a fighting chance.
@Janet - also very pleased your mum has been vaccinated too.0 -
Adding 1.2 miles, and most of that was navigating the huge hospital from the parking lot.
Got the vaccine this morning, no sore arm or anything. Went to Boot Camp tonight and was talking to someone who got it last week and she said she felt bad the next day, so we'll see. They recommend the second dose be given when you have the next day off, so I made it for a Saturday, between Boot Camp and my hair appointment!
Found out today that a former coworker died from it yesterday. Hope all that want to get it can get it soon.

@JTH11706 I am so glad your mother is negative for Covid. We too have a tradition of watching Die Hard (and Lethal Weapon).
@k80flec I am glad you are relatively safe.
@kar328 I'm pleased for you that you are getting your vaccine. Our county had 400 doses and ran through them pretty quickly.
We spent the first Christmas Eve and Christmas Day by ourselves in 30years. It was definitely a change from our normal houseful of children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and other outlaws. We went to see our youngest son's family Monday and got some grocery shopping done. It was nice getting out to drive around and look at the holiday lights and decorations. I hope everyone had a great weekend.2 -

And that's GOAL for @LOVEMYALEX, @VHUBER, @DJMICHEALS, and me!
@KAR328 - That has to be difficult to hear about your former co-worker. I'm glad you're getting your vaccine.

@kar328 - so sorry to hear about your former colleague, but pleased that you’ve have your first dose of the vaccine (the latter half of that sentence seems surreal).
@djmicheals - 400 doses doesn’t seem like very much I sincerely hope that gets resolved soon.
We’ve definitely been put into Tier 4 so movement is very restricted ...
I’ve got the results of my MRI scan today. The shoulder joint is still swollen from my multiple trips and falls. I also have a tear (hole) in my supraspinatus tendon. I’m getting exercises to rebuild the power and strength in the shoulder and arm.
The New Year is almost upon us ... I may even stay up to make sure this ratbag of a year goes1 -
Thanks @darkrider42
18 dec - 30 dec too many activities to write down. We are away from home and poor connectivity
80.3 kms
MTD 175.27kms
Mmm I’ll try for 175 kms in January
Thinking of you all in USA as this year ends- hoping you stay well and next year is better.1 -
Adding 2. Gonna have to step it up tomorrow, but I'm working in the new office which will get me a lot of steps.
No side effects from the vaccine, got tired this afternoon at the end of the shift, but it's been a hectic week, so I can't say that it's vaccine related. Hope everyone has access to it soon.
