Walnut butter!! Not sure on the calories but it was a very simple recipe. It is a bit bitter, maybe I should add honey next time?

I have been feeling extra blah lately.
I track my food. And am doing fine in that respect. But I just don’t have any umph for anything.

You could try cinnamon, some sea salt, or honey, I imagine it depends on how you plan to use it. I just use walnut oil when making almond butter but it does add a bit of bitterness.

Too big of a deficit or missing nutrient? Maybe seasons changing and fewer daylight hours?

I definitely hit a funk from time to time. 🤗

Not a too large deficit. I was stalled for a couple weeks. Just lost a bit today and yesterday.

I think it’s just life stuff.
And (insert rant about politics and humans here)

Some dipstick slid into my Facebook DMs today and spent a half hour calling me fat and a “drain on society”

Sad. But also kind of hilarious.
He was upset because I had commented on a post from our county health department saying the video someone else posted was “bs” (because it was).
So he took his feelings out on me.

Otherwise I’m good. Feeling in better spirits for sure.
I’ve started using an app called Sweepy, which is helpful for cleaning and self care routines. I think it’s helpful.

Thank you! I'm in a world of pain, but will be alright. My results were posted to my chart but I'm not sure how to read them :smirk: so waiting on a call.

Margaret, that is lame and uncalled for!!

I have always gone by the rule that if the doctor doesn’t call you immediately, the news probably isn’t that bad.

I remember when I got my first brain MRI. And then got a call half an hour later. Scared the kitten out of me so bad I panicked and didn’t answer.

It turned out to be a meningioma, which isn’t the end of the world. Scary at first, though.

Do keep us in the loop, please. 💐

This is me, being a little brave sharing this.
I am experimenting to see if using kinesiology tape might help shrink the loose skin.

My theory is that if the cells are squished together long enough the ones that will come up from underneath to replace them will get the hint and make less acreage.

    We’ll see.

I have been doing similar using nylon tattoo sleeve covers on my upper arms and maybe it’s my imagination but it does seem to be working.

Day two. It itches. I am not so sure that this is the great idea it seemed like yesterday.

In other news, I haven’t exercised for a few days. So I’m gonna do that now.

Thanks Margaret!! Good luck with the tape. Is it still itchy?

My daughter Julia took me out to a wolf rescue yesterday and we paid to go in with the wolves and pet them. I was on cloud nine :)

Sounds like an enjoyable time Lynne.

I’m feeling extremely stressed and my frustration is rising. My health is always a fragile physical-mental health balance. A number of things have gone on this last week that are, literally and figuratively, stressing that balance.

I have company coming this weekend, so hopefully I can get my *kitten* together by Thursday night, so I can relax and enjoy.

I'm sorry you are having so much stress!! Anything I can lend a hand with?

Found out for sure I DO NOT HAVE CANCER!!! WOHOOO!!! I do, however, have liver problems. Probably from being so overweight, since I've never drank in my life and don't do anything else that could damage it. Food addiction is literally hurting me.

Also, got the job!! They called about an hour ago. I start on the 11th. It's a customer service position, on the phones, 2nd shift. Not my dream job, but unless I get a master's degree I can't really DO my dream job lol. I might start on it and take my GRE and try to go back to grad school if I can lose another 50. :)

I took the tape off. It was a miserable failure. Not just itchy, but it turns out my abdominal skin is much much thinner than the skin on my legs where I would usually use this stuff.
    😂
    0/10 do not recommend

    GREAT NEWS ABOUT NO CANCER!
    Yes!
And the wolves sound like fun.

@NerdyScienceGrl was it you who was irritated with the lack of PS5 in the irked discussion?
Because wow. That’s a definitely irl worthy.
Fingers crossed they find the thing and get it to you in time for your guests.

    What games do you like?
I’m a Skyrim fan myself, but I haven’t played in forever because the only TV we have is in the living room, and thus playing video game means my husband is bored.
And bored people who have dementia are definitely people who need to be entertained with something safe.

One day I will find another TV, and figure out how to set it up in my garage. Today is not that day. 😂

Yep, I was the PS5 poster. I plan to write a review. I left a lot of the BS that really triggered me out of the post. I’ve never played Skyrim. I, generally play, action RPGs like Diablo, first person shooters, and survival sandbox games. I’m not a huge fan of questing unless there is some serious endgame content that makes it worthwhile.

Is ps5 worth it? I'm into rpgs and questing games. I've got an Xbox 1 but mainly honestly use it for streaming. I used to LOVE Playstation, games like dark cloud and romancing saga. I just haven't seen any good rpgs released on it. For now, I've been hanging out on my island on animal crossing lol

I’m a PC gamer really, so hard for me to say. I don’t really know the advantages of one console versus the other. PS5 are still nearly impossible to get your hands on though.

Yeah I was waiting on the price to go down :D They are way too costly for my income level!! My son is a HUGE Pc gamer, he built a whole tower setup, etc. I told him I'm going to steal it and use it for a paperweight bwahahaha. (just to mess with him, would never do it! )

the good: So I went out and walked for the first time in almost 2 months today. I don't get out and walk a lot b/c of health issues and I really enjoyed the time. Got about a mile in. Stayed under calories today and have lost almost 45 lbs so far since May. I'm really doing my best.
The bad: Some random helpful citizen decided to drive by me slow and yell "hey fat *kitten*" out their window as I was walking. I'd love to thank them for that. I've got mental health issues anyway so I'm not feeling very good about myself right now. Came home, got into jammies, and am trying not to stress eat. It has always been my comfort to eat, which is how I got so big in the first place. Sigh.

Hope everyone had a better day!!

Anyone want to giggle with me? It wasn't too funny at 6 am but I'm just rolling with it now lol.

So we've been out of coffee for about a week. Just didn't have the funds to buy more, and I have had a raging caffeine headache. I finally gave in this morning and got into the instant crap that we keep in the pantry for baking with. Well of course it is early as heck in the morning so I didn't have my glasses on yet while looking at the directions, and I thought it said 1 tablespoon of grounds per cup ( mind you, I was using a small for me 12 ouncer this morning ). I was like, Ok, I REALLLY have a headache and this crap is gross so I will add a little extra so it isn't weak. Guys, the directions on that junk is 1 TEASPOON per cup. I can see smells and taste colors. That was the most BITTER junk I have ever slogged down, but I did it out of spite, mostly at myself lol. I felt so dumb. We now have coffee, picked up some at Meijer. I think I picked up the wrong roast but at this point anything is better than that paint peeling mess I made myself this morning!

    And so has my partner.
    Dipsticks. Body shaming dipsticks.

You are worthy of good things.

Oh. Coffee. Man, I would slug that thick caffeine juice back with some sugar and milk and not even feel it. I take So Much caffeine daily! One coffee, and four pills. Every day.
It doesn’t work quite as well as adderal. But it’s easier to get than a monthly doctor appointment for ADHD.

I’ve had some rough days lately.
    Just feeling extra weak.

Just grocery shopping is a trial. I even used the motorized cart the other day. I almost used it today, and by the time I got to the checkout I kinda wished I had.

That said? I’m down another pound and a half. So, keeping on keeping on, here.

You are doing great Margaret!!! I'm sorry you are feeling so very rough. Sending hugs your direction.

Been watching the baby while my oldest moves from her old apartment to a new one with her boyfriend and I have SO MANY mixed emotions about that. Not a fan I guess. Other than that, I finally got a job and start Monday. Been on disability since 07 so I'm freaking out that I won't be able to do it. Here is to hoping!
