Today is my hubby and my 14 year wedding anniversary. We played board games after work and split a kit kat for dessert -- we're pretty boring! I need to think up a surprise trip for our 15th anniversary next year.
I worked at home today and didn't get many steps in. But yesterday was ok.

Megan, sorry your appointment didn't go as well as you had hoped. Can you see another type of dr. who specializes in arthritis? Did this dr. take x-rays? Anyway, it is just one opinion. Seek another opinion, imho, so you can find out what you need to do to preserve that ankle as much as possible.🧡3 -

Today I was able to speak with a local Pharmacist about Managing my Type2 Diabetes. She really helped me a lot and now I see my Primary Doctor tomorrow, I can share her information with him. Hopefully he listens. 👍
I am glad you are making headway with help in managing your diabetes. I hope your appointment goes well.Hi everyone! Wow, so much happens when you don't read posts for 24 hours! I'm impressed with how well everyone is doing at BINGO. I'm also sending positive thoughts to all of you currently struggling with health issues and/or injuries.
I've done okay this week, my macros are right on track, but my calorie intake is higher than it should be. I've been doing too much mindless eating in the evenings while watching shows with my husband, so I'm going to take a break from the TV tonight and instead take a bath, read a book, and go to bed early. I'm hoping that will help me be on track for my weigh-in tomorrow! My weight on Tuesday was great, down another pound, but then today it had jumped up even more than the start of the month... I know it's probably mostly water retention, but I need to scale to be going in right direction!
My NSV is running during the lunch hour twice this week, even though it was cold and rainy both days. Usually I prefer to exercise after work, but it's getting darker much earlier now so running during lunch ensures that I can't skip out in the evenings.
Awesome NSV! I think we have to look at our NSV’s when the scale is not our friend, Another NSV for you is your making changes to combat the mindless eating. No matter what the scale says today, you are doing well overall.
Nice loss! It’s nice to be able to put a face to the lady you works so hard and inspires me every day.3 -

@Megan_smartiepants1970 I totally agree with Lee. Did he do a bone mineral density test for the osteoporosis and X-rays for the arthritis? Like Lee said, find a doctor, preferably a specialist, you deals in this area. I believe rheumatologist deal with osteoporosis.

I have been craving beef barley soup. I have cook in the slow cooker Wednesday so I pinned this recipe. I will have to adjust the quantities of the ingredients and I will add a couple more veggies.

One tip I have for increasing activity is when folding clothes put each item away one at a time. Do a lap around your house and then put the next item away. It increases the step count.5

I knew I was going to gain weight as I had a bad week. The hardest part is seeing a 2 in front of my weight. I know next week I have to try to reign in the eating when anxious. Hopefully, if the injection works and I will be less anxious. So did it work. I don’t know yet. It camp take up to 5 days to notice the results and some don’t get any until the second injection which I get in early December. I am going to do some short walks in the apartment or the hall a few times today and see how I make out. I have been awake since 3 am so I may not have a lot of energy. So much for going to bed 30 minutes early. 😂. I still have to take it easy for the most part.
I will post my bingo card later. I am missing 2 things but I won’t get them done.
Happy FriYAY!

@Jpedno happy belated anniversary. I'm sure you will find a good trip for next year.
@Megan_smartiepants1970 try to get a rhumatologist for your arthritis. You can still keep your primary. I was after my wife for a few years to see one for her hands. She didn't until it was to late. Her fingers are all bent out of shape now.
@lindamtuck2018 I hope the shot took. I will be crossing my fingers for the next 5 days.2 -

Good evening Guys and Gals..
I know I have been pretty much absent on here and social media in general. The pain has been lots to deal with. I haven't managed a full day of work all week. My paycheck is going to suck big time. lol
Not sure if this is progress, but I managed to stay about an hour longer at work each of the last 4 days. Today I left at 1:30pm. Even while I'm at work, I can hardly concentrate on anything complicated cause pain does that. (I'm such a winey baby huh? lol)
Anyway, when I haven't been at work, I've been in bed usually in a fetal position. So that's what I did again today. Except shortly after 4:00pm, Lynn got home, and I pulled myself out of bed and headed downstairs for LEG DAY!!!! If I didn't have the laydown (which helps reduce the pain significantly) I would have never been able to talk myself into the workout.
We made some very minor adjustments today... I didn't think Dead lifts would be wise, given my lower back issues, so we basically opted for 4 sets of 12" box squats instead. I did 20 reps each set, first 2 were just body weight... then I used 2 orange bands around my neck and my feet, for 20 more, and then I skipped a band and did 2 blue bands and did 20 more... This one got me to almost 160 beats per minute. (Note I forgot to start my Fitbit until after my first set). My brother was there too, and he stuck to BW starting on the 14" box and moved to the 12" box for the final 2 sets. And Lynn used the 10" box. 😉 (Cause she's a shorty).
The rest of the workout was pretty much the same, leg extensions, leg curls, and the final superset of Shrugs, Calve Raises and Good Mornings. Cept I opted out of Good mornings because I didn't want to chance it.
All in all, I'm happy with my performance... Leg extensions were noticeably more difficult, but I haven't done them in over 2 weeks so not surprised.
I was hopeful that actually doing this workout might actually help loosen me up, perhaps knock something back into place? But it didn't really make much difference at all. Walking and standing is just painful and tight. But generally, perform the actual work was more or less fine. Maybe it did help a little bit? hard to say. It doesn't appear to have made anything worse, so I guess that's good.
So, this will mark the third weekend in a row of being on the go while I'm either sick or injured.... Heading to Manitoulin Island, to spend some time with one of Lynn's friends. (She's a Masseuse... hmmmmm). I'm so looking forward to having a weekend to rest one day... Who know's when that will happen, but one day.
Jason is going to be one sore MOFO the next 2 days. MoooahahAHAHHAHA
Good night everyone! 🤗

I totally get it. My PCP retired. He had been our dr. for 20+ years!! The dr. he recommended went to a concierge style. She charges 5K a year plus per visit... Not gonna happen, not even with great insurance. So now in the process of finding a new PCP. There are more suggestions. I just don't want to wait 2 months, lol.3
