Enough of these lazy days. Tomorrow I'm starting a 3 day belly fat loss. It's also helping me build some curves. If anyone is looking forward to such a result I'll be more then happy to get a training buddy. The exersices are a good fit for home training cause they're mostly crunches. Had to adjust today while traveling. Barely made the under cal thing. Eating on the fly with hubs is harder than alone... and even worse when they get the order wrong and your semi good choice is replaced with a duplicate of his order but we are already back on the road when I get to check the bag cause " oh... it will be right" Ugghhh.
Thankful for college towns.. lots of walking that can get done! Which helped with so e extra steps. Still not reaching my goal yet but i will get there.3 -

Exercise: yes.. very light exercise as I was still feeling a little dizzy from the flu shot. Walked to the park with my daughter and played some softball, then took the dog for a walk around the block. For spending most of the day laying down, my step count wasn't too bad: 9,051. My goal is to break 10,000 today as I feel much better and finally got a good night's sleep.

Had to adjust today while traveling. Barely made the under cal thing. @sandkp --> eating while traveling is a big challenge for me, especially if it's a road trip! I love to just sit there and eat the whole time. You mentioned college towns.. may I ask where you all are heading?1 -

Still struggling to get my steps up and my hunger in check.2 -
I've been here for awhile but I feel like I haven't really started my weigh loss journey. As I am still the same weight I was the first time I joined TBBT a long time ago. Although I have not really lost weight I feel like being here has kept me in check enough to gain a larger amount.
I looked up beginning a weight loss journey and the first thing that comes up is to know your why. So, I ask you TBBT - What is your why?
Please share what made made you decide to begin this journey, what motivation do you have?
Some of you have already mentioned this in your introduction posts. Some of us that have been in this challenge for awhile have already shared their "why" before, and if you have I encourage your to share with the new members or to even re-evaluate your motivations to continue the journey.

Thanks for sharing. Everyone's journey and decision to join and stay with this group are just as varied as we all are.
I'm Dee, and I'm here for 3 reasons.
1. I have been logging food/wt for a long time with little change. I decided to give myself a 21 day challenge, to see if I could make something happen. During these 21 days, I'm 'Temporarily" choosing to cut out alcohol, primarily wine to see how much of a difference that would make. A few days into this I decided to go with a moderate reduced carb idea...so I'm committed to no booze, and 70g carbs daily for 21 days. No other restrictions.
2. I was drawn to the idea of a smaller group within a challenge. I find that I was getting lost inside the bigger groups and the support factor faded for me.
3. Recently diagnosed with a back situation that may require surgery...just to prevent worsening; haha there is no 'fixing me' lovely!
Well, so there it is. I'm not buying into the there is no cure thing...so I'm actively motivated to this 21 day cycle, and perhaps several more to get to my goal weight. I think that 25 less pounds on this little tiny frame..I'm a short gal, will lessen the pressure upon my spinal column.
Right now, I'm stoked! I'm rocking this...but maybe I'm in the honeymoon phase.4 -

exercise: yes.. walked the dog this morning and finally hit 10,000 steps today! As of now, I have 10,001 steps.. I have been slowly cutting out sugar from my diet and noticed that I'm not as hungry in the afternoons like I normally am. I've also started mixing lemon slices and mint into my water, which makes it so refreshing! @DaffyGirl88 thanks for the reminder to love everyday and see the beauty in the start of a new day!
Anyone have any goals for this weekend? Mine is to get 30,000 steps this weekend.

@mhoss2 I love food on road trips alone or with the kiddos as I can make easier choices... hubs is not so salad friendly so lots of fast food type stops and then big meals when at destinations. I used to keep hot Tomales in hand for those long drives with the kids for camps, college tours and such. We've definitely done our share of summer road trips and those spicy candies kept me up when I would get sleepy. I've since tried to NOT have food just hanging around the car but when the universe is against you, you eat a burger 🤣
I was just visiting #2 for his college game in MD. Everything from getting food to parking to get to stadium is a walk. #3's school is much bigger but he insists my calf be 100% okay before we try much walking there since its tons of hills. Spring exploring there is our goal.2 -

@mhoss2 my goal for the weekend is to not weigh more on Monday than I do today. That's tough for me because if we eat out at all it's always on the weekend. Also, typically one of the days is my rest day and I also drink less water on the weekend. That's probably tied to the rest day as I drink 40oz while exercising which sets me up for the day.2
