Got to the store today...a ton of people. Guess that's what happens on Friday afternoon.
Fell off the wagon today. Had lots of grams and 2/3 a huge burrito from a new place here in town. It was okay...too many raw onions, tho...blaaa.
60 min workout w/my trainer at noon. Used the new hand weight ends, Shelley. Complained the entire time.

Chris I need a haircut also. Almost to my waist. I am so happy you like the new weights. We only complain that much when we secretly love it.
Karen I worked off a sluggish day also.
Got up and sent my husband by plane to visit his sister in Tennessee. Then did 45 minutes of code dance. Then biked with my friend. We went off trail. It got a bit to steep and I slid backwards on a slide of fallen leaves. Yep, slid right into a wreck. Libby was ok. We then went back to the hard top. I am a bit bruised and ego a bit worse for wear, but it was a great time.
Riding again tomorrow. Then weights with Kaeldra. I have a lot of work to get fit again. The only thing between me and it is me. I got this. Do you?

Shelley, I'm so glad you and Libby are okay. Sounds scary to me. Don't like riding bikes anyway and sliding backwards...EGADS!!!
Yeppy, yep, Shelley. We must get it done. Mine was 6.68 miles in 116 mins this morning. Got to sleep in until 8:00 a.m. Daylight Savings Time. It was breezy out there, but I made it to the post office and back.
My hair is a bit shorter than I like, but it will grow. Last haircut was a bit longer than I like...it might take another session to get back to normal.

Did an overnight with two girlfriends in Easton, PA at "Baconfest." Yes....it's a thing. Do needed....lots of laughs, support and catch up. My hood friend just had a hip replacement 12 weeks ago and is going great thankfully!!
What's Baconfest without a bacon bloody mary?

Went riding again yesterday. It was windy. But sunny and not to chilly. Then lifted weights with my granddaughter. I had to skip the pushups/bench presses. I guess I am a little bit sore. Oh well.
I also got some extra sleep. I actually got in 8 hours. Can't remember when the last time I did that.
Kathy & Chris I am trying very hard to not over eat. It is easier with Rocky out of the house. Even the dogs are getting in line. No extra snacks. They are eating their dinner now.

I went to a Harry Potter Halloween House with my brother's family last week and should've kept my mask on in the car. So now I have a cold and abandoned my keto diet to cope with it. Guzzling OJ, oatmeal (chicken soup) and calories galore. Shockingly only weighed 148.8 today. Must be burning hella calories to fight this cold.
Shelley, So glad you and Libby survived your scary slip-n-slide. Leaves and gravel and stuff can really throw your tires out from under you. You must've had good reflexes to ride it out with minimum damage. Hope your bruises (body and soul) heal well.
Karen, Bacon is good. Bacon and alcohol is better. I had whiskey this week "for my cold." That warm fuzzy glow makes the world feel safer, curled up with a drippy nose and a Kleenex box. Gonna add bacon next time. You make it look so good.

Paula I hope you get better soon. Colds are such a pain. Get well and try and stay on track as much as possible. Wish I would have had one of those cams to record my slide down the sort hill onto my side. Would have been epic.
Chris one meal a week is ok. I know you have this.
My daughter just got out of surgery. They said it went well. Can't wait to see her. I looked up an ankle replacement on YouTube. Very interesting. So glad we live in a time where they can do things like this.

Struggling but hanging in. You ladies are doing great!
Mom couldn’t get her MRI on Friday because they couldn’t get an IV in her tiny moving veins. Tuesday her oncologist ordered her to get an infusion of fluids. Rescheduled for 11/22 along with labs. Dad has labs today then MRI in December. Both are doing well considering….

Chris sorry. I may not have mentioned it. It was rescheduled more than once. She is doing well recovering. No weight on it anytime soon.
Will put a photo up on our cell phone group for you all to see the magic of modern medicine.
Kathy I once had to have a gal from the baby ward put one in my arm. She put it in my hand in the end. Them folks who work with the tiny babies are great

I went back to Weight Watchers. It has changed many times over the years. Soooooo...we get a huge change here AT THE SAME TIME WW has a huge change. I'm in Shelley's class...I'm too old for this all at once. EGADS!!!!

Oh my goodness I hope they fix this app! Just logging on now with my iPad. I do almost everything on my cell phone so it took me a little bit a time to make it here. Does anybody know if they’re going to be fixing the cell phone app? Crazy!
So there was bacon on the stick and in the bloody Mary. It was quite wonderful :-) super fun time. I’ve never been before but I will definitely go back to 🥓 fest :-)
I’m going on my first business trip since the beginning of Covid. Feels so weird to be traveling again. Much more difficult to travel to Canada than ever before. Lots of tests and paperwork. I’m leaving tomorrow morning and hopefully have smooth sailing until Friday when I come home. Canada is pretty hard-core about Covid precautions which is good. You can’t even get into a restaurant without showing your vaccination card. I wish I was going for a good trip. But my team in Canada is really struggling. It’s been extremely stressful on me. Been getting up a lot with the middle of the night thinking. Things are shaky and corporate America right now that’s for sure. Our company is also being acquired probably in January. And I wonder why I can’t sleep right? Lol!
I have not been very good about exercising. Really had to try to get some in while I travel. It’s just been so hectic. Looking forward to my 50th birthday trip on December 2. Going to Las Vegas with some of my friends, and then to the Grand Canyon to take that puppy. Not sure if I will like the whole thing, but it’s on my bucket list to go and do it.

Karen you have to stay vigilant and keep exercising. Stretching or Yoga is the best. You can do it anywhere. I am finding I really am not flexible now. So having to force myself also right now. You love to travel. Don't let anything get you down.
Chris this whole site is horrible right now. Hope they fix it.
Did a little stretching this morning. Even talked Rocky into joining me. Working out with Kaeldra and the weights in a little while this morning. I am a bit sore from yesterday. My new little urchin is doing well in its quarantine tank.

Shelley - I did bring workout clothes to get to the hotel gym a few times. Will see if I get there today. I slept super poorly with nerves about travel. But perhaps a nap will help once I get to the hotel!
I’m on my work iPhone and at least I can navigate the app…I get nothing with Android!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine had a few extra calories last night. I was really good today, tho.
Managed 7.07 miles in 133 mins this afternoon. The first 1.6 miles was w/DH and Bean...slow goin'
Raley's has stuffed bears you can buy with part of the $10 going toward Food for Families. I got Ronan a bear then thought about all the kids across the street...three little ones and a young teen. I got four extra bears that Ronan and I will take over there tomorrow afternoon and give to the kids. It'll make us grown ups cry for sure!!

Shelley, because they thought it was sweet and Ronan handed them to the little kids while he was holding his own bear. At the end I told them about Food for Families. They liked it.
Worked out w/trainer for 60 mins this afternoon.

My Fitbit is not working...it is not syncing to my Dashboard. My watch is no longer on my Device list. Patrick cannot figure it out. We will call the Help Desk tomorrow...I guess. We'll see what happens tomorrow when I walk in the morning. I am saying a bunch of bad words right now.
