I've been doing well the last few days, but new years eve is tomorrow night, and it's one of my favorite holidays of the year. We're going to a house party where there will be many temptations. I would love to hear your favorite ways to avoid temptations at these parties1 -

Good Morning Everyone. Last day of the year leads me to reflect...did I hit or miss on my resolutions for 2021 and what will I carry forward or change in 2022?
The Hit and Must Carry Forward:
1. I joined this group. Without it, I would not be where I am in my health pursuits and I am in a very good place. Thank you to everyone of you and to those who came, participated and moved on. I appreciate you more than you know, especially since I have been in absentia for the last 6 weeks or so.
Which leads me to, The Miss:
1. I took too big of a step back over the last 6 weeks thinking I needed the break from the accountability. Nope. Being here is not solely accountability to myself but support from the group and, in my own way, supporting others on their journey. No pressure, no expectations, just complete understanding and compassion...been there, felt that.
Changes for 2022:
1. Enjoy the process, successes are small and need to be appreciated. I learned this week at 64 almost 65 I can once again 'touch my toes' :-)! I can play baseball with my 4 and 2 year old grandkids in the park...and hit the whiffle ball out of the park! I can walk into any women's clothing store (not just the 'generous sized women's stores') and find clothing to fit...off the rack!
Such joy in the little things. I know you 'get it', not everyone does. The roller coaster ride is really frustrating some days but looking at the culmination of a year commitment, I see more successes than I ever could have anticipated.
So, thank you for your support. Again.
