Christmas dinner was yummm. Living abroad has it's challenges with missing family. I decided my hubby and I would have a dinner with some new 'transplants' that we met. We know what it's like to try to find your place in a new world This time of year can be lonely for expats who are not with their family. So, we enjoyed Christmas eve dinner with new friends "transplants" I call them. Imagine an outdoor garden setting under the stars. That's how we had christmas dinner. One of our new friends gave me a christmas card.....I must say to you all this is holy cow wow*** In this world people do not exchange gift cards. There are no card stores, I truly have no idea how she got a card.....pretty impressive. She may have brought it from her home country. So, after dinner we went to another friends houses for drinks around the pool. Just to be honest with you all, I had a couple drinks in the palapala. So, fast forward to this morning. I woke up on the 'wrong' side of the bed. It was 6;18am and I dont think I even had a pee all night. I nudged my hubby and we rolled over each other to the 'normal side'. A few hours later we woke up and I asked how this happened... he said that I went to bed, (sleep) before him, and I was so peaceful he just slept on the 'other' side. Funny thing here...about a week ago I had a neck situation. Well, to be honest I am not a passive person. So neck situation..fix...fix...fix...so I googled up the issue, and well there was so many 'helpful' people on u- tube... well, I followed the 7 day exercises for the neck. The result is after a few days I thought I was better, however, apparently I was not. So, bottom line is...my neck is half way better. Merry Christmas and happy holidays. I think we are going to spend the afternoon on the beach1 -

Trifecta in the wrong direction yesterday. But it was a travel day and that means that I am back today and ready to undo the damage that the weekend / holiday brought.
Here's to great last week of 2021! Clearly not enough time to complete those remaining goals, but enough time to reflect on what you want to accomplish in 2022. I received a new planner for Christmas so I'm looking forward to starting with a clean slate. Oh the pssibilities....4 -

yikes no on all counts bloated, constipated, achy everywhere. So, whine whine. Today is a new day. Self care 101. Get back on the pilates mat and do some make me feel a little better. It's weird that just few days of not tracking and I got way off track. Today, going to clean the house, do some laundry, and make yummy and healthy food for my soul.2 -

I am Marilyn, and I am a retired librarian from Ohio. I donβt have a lot of weight to lose, but I love the accountability and team spirit of BLC. I am doing Jenny Craig right now, and it is keeping me from gaining during the holidays.
