Congrats on the line and all the squares you completed on the bingo card! You food looks so good. I need to use my air fryer more.
@Gwiz401
Weekends are tough. Can you pinpoint the stressor and try and find away to avoid it.
@rwood566
Love lazy days. We need them on occasion.
@peng123
I am glad your knees allowed you to exercise yesterday. Don’t overdo it and keep the ice to them.
@MeowScout
Stopping the gain is a big part of the battle. Happy birthday week!

@mszoueb thank you
@lindamtuck2018 I have to be stronger than my emotions.
At least the slips are contained to once a day and not the whole day.
I resolve to be on point for the next 11 days!! Water and no slips!!3 -

12 minutes elliptical 6.2mph
90 minutes strength training moderate
Decided to do both upper and lower body exercises to make up for missing yesterday. Probably not the smartest thing but the squat rack was open. Guaranteed 2 pounds of water weight tomorrow!
The wind calmed down today so it’s pretty nice out(25F). Am thinking warm thoughts cuz have some shorts out for delivery today. We are halfway through January, 1 month of winter down. Yippee!3 -

So first day back working in the office and trying to get back into my food routines after all the holiday indulgencies, it's really hard and I'm feeling pretty depressed about it all. But this little pumpkin face is my inspiration. Sammy is 10.5 years old which is very old for a bulldog, their average life span is 8-10 years and he came to us when he was 7 as a retired stud to enjoy retirement with us. He spends most of his life on the couch and at his age we don't try to get him to join in the walks as he prefers car rides. But in the last couple of months he has been jumping up and demanding that we put on his harness so he can join in. He does it at his own pace and only makes it 1/4 of the way down our long driveway but honestly its the equivalent of your 95 year old gpa suddenly leaping out of his rocking chair and declaring that he's coming jogging with you, so I'm pretty darn impressed. Just goes to show you're never too old. Thank you Sammy for keeping me inspired. Love ya, you big smushy face xx

Good evening everyone. Did everyone have a good weekend?
Check in for 1/16:
Steps - 11843
Calories - 1760
Exercise - 4 mile walk in 1:25. I decided to make homemade spaghetti sauce instead of jar, so I walked to the grocery store since it was nice out. 2 miles each way. On the way there I found 2 pennies. Both were heads up so 2x good luck. My grocery bill was 4.02 so I gave the pennies. Didn't have to bring home a bunch of coins. On the way home I found 40 bucks on the sidewalk and nobody around. Got my good luck for both pennies.5 -
Here is my favorite bread recipe. Easy and quick. This is a thick, heavy bread.
3 cups self rising flour
3 tbsp sugar
12 oz medium dark beer, like Guinness, at room temp.
Oven 350F
Grease a loaf pan
Mix the dry together, then slowly add beer until smooth. It will be thick.
Put in the loaf pan and bake on the middle rack for 50 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool on a rack.
The crust will be hard but will soften the next day. Heat it up a bit to get a good beer smell.2 -

Susan served a bit of a high sodium meal last night so I was a little worried about having a 3rd 'up' week in a row but I just barely ducked under last week's weight. Unfortunately I hurt (light sprain maybe) my left wrist taking down our 14' Christmas tree yesterday so between Motrin and ice packs, it's looking like I'll be taking some time off from lifting and rowing. Ugh ... the older I get the more I realize I don't like the downsides of getting older (although it's better than the alternative!). Anyway, there's nothing wrong with my legs so no excuse to increase my steps until I'm back in action.4 -

Sleet and ice here in the south, not the snow I wanted. Nevertheless I stayed inside and took a rest day. I did snack too much, inactivity is not a good thing I found, but I whooshed all the water my sore muscles were holding on to down over 2.5 pounds since Saturday. Now if I can only hold on to that weight!2
