Morning! Feeling yucky after a thoughtless mini binge last night. And it was AFTER I brushed my teeth! These are always tied to stress for me. So, my goal for these last 2 weeks of February is to not eat a THING, not a BITE, after dinner. I am an abstainer through and through-I don't do well with moderation.

I did exercise today to work off all the food I am probably going to indulge in this super bowl party. I pre logged my calories and if I stick with it, I will only be slightly above. And I’m ok with that. I am going to be drinking lots of water to make sure I stay full. Exercise today, will have me burning for hours. It was definitely a tough leg day. Oh today which isn’t weigh in day, I saw decrease on the scale go figure. Oh well at least I lost since some since I have been the same since last Wednesday. Every bit counts. I am almost in 230s. I can’t wait to get into 230s and then quickly get I to 220s. I am will be jumping up and down when I really 220s. That’s my mini goal!!!

Thanks for this! I was just going to get a snack before checking in here and happened upon your post. After I brushed my teeth, I added a rinse of whitening mouthwash…seems to be working so far! One day at a time! Good luck with your goal this week!1 -

So I was only up 2 lbs this morning instead of the usually 3-4. I guess that's a win? 🤷♀️ LOL Hopefully it's just carb/sodium/water retention and will dissipate quickly. My hope is to be a down a bit before next Monday as I'm headed to Mardi Gras 🥳🎉 and plan to eat my way across New Orleans. Jambalaya, muffuletta, andouille, biegnets...... 🤤2

Oh @DaffyGirl88 Enjoy Mardi Gras that’s gonna be fun.
So I’m surprised yesterday I did not indulge more than I needed to. To my surprise I was full very fast. I also tracked my calories and my goal is 1500. I usually don’t eat back my exercise calories but I was under my calories with worked calories. And guess what my weight is staying steady today with only 0.4 of it gained back 😳 happy dance.
Well today is under challenge as I always cook a copycat recipe from Johnny Carinos and it is very high in fat and carbs. I’m gonna try to limit myself. I got this.

After a very small drop last week, I had a big one this week! And I'm starting to notice that my clothes that were tight and I was afraid to try on, are feeling good, and some others are starting to feel loose.

I used heavy weights today than last week. I’m sure I will feel it tomorrow. I’m thinking that I am also gonna going to add 20 minutes on the treadmill. I don’t see my weight dropping as it was with insanity. But I’m sure those muscles building weigh more. I also measured myself and I have couple inches of my waist and one inch off my thighs. So I can’t complain. I do not want to lose this weight fast either. At 241 lbs, I do have a lot of fat. If I lose the weight fast then I will have extra skin. I need to lose this weight slowly so my skin can have time to adjust. I do not want surgery if I don’t have to. I am mad at myself that I let myself gain this weight. 😭 oh well live n learn. This time I am serious and will keep at it.2 -

A gain... and it looks huge but I am okay with this. I KNOW I let go for Valentines weekend. I ate out, made memories and mentally relaxed. I also know from my daily weighings that restaurant food gives me a spike and carbs (esp. pasta ) gives me a spike.
I also know that I havent put a med in my body since Nov 1. Guess what? I woke up this am with a mega headache. I used a heating pad for a half hour and am going to drown myself in water but still NO meds. I will push through today and let hubs eat any leftovers (except my white choc dipped strawberries... i will use that in my eating window and adjust accordingly) I will jump to my salads and oatmeal and reset over next couple days.
A 6 months ago, this would have put me in a spin and a 'gain for real' purge of the pantry. Mainly because I didnt understand food weight spike relationships for my body as well as I do now... even though i have much to learn, its a start. Today, my mind accepts what is really going on and allows me to move forward. Thats a win for me.2 -
