I'm starting to work on getting caught up on the stationary bike now, but I need to be careful not to overdo it.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Dave
This one is definitely for me....

Hang in there Dave. Pushing hard enough to do good but not so hard you do damage is a very thin line.1

@CPANUS - Thanks, Chris!
@SUFFERLANDRIAN - I try to tell myself that I know where that thin line is, Dean, but I'm blind to it half the time. My impatience and stubbornness get in the way.
Speaking of not knowing when to take it easy....my 3.0 miles on the stationary bike yesterday started not feeling so good about the last mile, but did I stop? HAHAHA...nope. I iced it down really well afterward and it didn't seem to be any worse than normal. So today, I was thinking maybe I could do a mile and a half twice during the day. I got on the bike about 2:00pm and started riding. It never started not feeling good so what did I do? I rode 4.0 miles today...and with a little more resistance. And thennnnn, it was really nice and sunny out today so I went for a nice, slow little stroll with my cane. Making sure I stay up on my meds this evening.

Got through the night just fine. Also had my two-week post-op checkup today and got x-rays taken and everything looks fabulous! Doc said I was way ahead of schedule and she was extremely happy with everything. My incision is looking and healing great, too!

Dave your scar looks fantastic!
Got my sutures out this morning. The lower part of the incision had separated, which I could see when I took off the bandages. I'm trying to keep it closed with steri strips. They don't want me to put Vit E or Bio-Oil on for another week I did go play pickleball this morning. When the woman teaching serving was aiming some my way I'd let them go. Her serves are like bullets.
I did 1.2 miles yesterday so it's 19.9/30. Ticker factory is defaulting to 14 miles done every time I go to the page so it's messing up my math.

@KAR328 - Thanks, Karen! Great idea with the steri-strips. Maybe if you have some crazy glue (cyanoacrylate), you could put a drop or two of that on and push it together until it sticks. Between all of us in our household plus my two adult boys, we've had lots of experience gluing wounds together. And also a great idea not trying to return those hot serves!

Dave: I wish my left knee looked as good as your replacement. He said I am far from knee replacement, but it does grind and slip. Way to go on your progress.
Kar: Smart to avoid the bullet serves.
